HEALTH CARE SCHOLARSHIP

2024 RIDGEVIEW HEALTH CARE SCHOLARSHIP Each year, Ridgeview offers a $2,000 scholarship to area college-bound high school seniors interested in pursuing a career in the health care field. Scholarships are awarded to one student from each of the 25 local area high schools listed below. Additionally, there is a scholarship awarded to a non-traditional high school student, a child of a Ridgeview employee, and two scholarships for students with a diverse background. The application will be available from Jan. 1 - March 15, 2024.

SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA Recipients are selected by members of the Scholarship Committee according to the following criteria: Pursuing one of the predefined health care career choices (see below) Have a high school GPA of 2.5 or higher Involved with school or community volunteer activities Planning on enrolling in a post-secondary school, public or private, in the fall of 2024 Please note that the following students are not eligible for the “child of a Ridgeview employee” scholarship: Children of Ridgeview director-level employee or above Children of Ridgeview physicians and affiliated physicians

Funding for the Ridgeview Health Care Scholarship Program is generously provided by Ridgeview Foundation’s Friends & Family giving club initiatives and anonymous community donors. All interested and eligible students are encouraged to apply, provided they meet the specified criteria. Applications will be available online between Jan. 1 and March 15, 2024.
