Most dishes are prepared in our Josper grill, the centerpiece of our kitchen. The elegant combination of grill and baking oven guarantees unique gourmet moments of pleasure and indescribable tasting experiences. Our Anker’s Best is perfect for sharing. General information and conditions

Ambiance

Our restaurant accomodates 80 guests. More information and pictures on our website or on Facebook and Instagram

Confirmation

You will receive a written confirmation of your event. The banquet confirmation comes to effect after written confirmation by both parties. This can be done by mail, email or fax.

Corkage

If you prefer to bring your own wine, we will charge CHF 35.– per 75 cl bottle.

Decoration

You are welcome to bring your own table decoration. Please contact us if you have something special in mind, but don’t have time to realise your ideas. Together with our own decorator we help you to put your ideas into practice. While you will be charged for floral decorations tailored to your event, accessories can be rented from us at rental prices. Candle glasses are included in our prices. We are happy to arrange the decoration that you have brought with you; for particularly elaborate table decoration, we reserve the right to charge CHF 2.– per cover.

Desserts

Should you wish to bring your own wedding cake, pie or other dessert, we will charge CHF 5.– per present person.

Directions

The Hotel Restaurant Anker Lucerne can be reached by public transport as the bus stop Pilatusplatz is right in front of the house.

For train travelers, it is recommended to walk on foot, as the main station of Lucerne is only 8 minutes from the hotel. If you bring a lot of luggage, you will always find a taxi at the station that will take you to us in 4 minutes.

The Hotel Restaurant Anker does not have its own parking facilities. Within a 5-minute walk you will find several car parks; such as the Parkhaus Kesselturm.

Exclusive booking

The restaurant can be booked exclusively for birthdays, weddings, business-events or other special occasions. It’s our pleasure to assist in all belongings to make each stay an unforgettable experience. The minimum consumption depends on the season. For exclusive events we charge a deposit of 10 000.– after final booking.

Extras

We can arrange a selection of surprise gifts for your guests such as a parmesan grater, wine of the year, Caffè del Capo and more. Other gift items can be found on weinundmehr.ch

Menu

All our meals are prepared with fresh seasonal ingredients. Whenever possible, we use fruit and vegetables from the local farmers and producers. Should you need any assistance with your choice of menu do not hesitate to contact us.

Banquets are calculated for groups of 15 people or more. Please let us know your menu choice (the same for all the participants), a vegetarian alternative is of course possible. Smaller groups (under 15 people) can order from our «a la carte» menu.

Number of guests

To avoid any misunderstanding, you should let us know the exact number of people two weeks before the event. We will accept a margin of error of 20 % of the first registered number of people. We need this information to calculate our purchasing, to plan our staff as well as for billing purposes. 48 hours before the event we can tolerate only a discrepancy of 5 % of the final reported number. We can not account for any last minute changes.

Payment terms

The settlement of the account is either in cash, by credit card or payable within 14 days net. We reserve the right to charge a prepayment in the total amount of the menu (excluding drinks), payable three days before the event.

The remaining sum can be paid cash, by credit card or by invoice. All prices in CHF incl. VAT.

In case of cancellation of a confirmed event, we kindly request a written notice. In addition, we will charge the following fee: from 14 days prior the date of the event we will charge 50 % of the agreed arrangement imposed on the number of people registered.

Please take note that we do not send invoices abroad. We expect prepayment (menu price multiplied by number of guests attending) 10 days prior to the event by credit card or bank transfer. Upon receipt of payment we will confirm your event.

Wine list

We are very proud of the selection on our wine list. We have over 300 top wines from all over the world. Our selection leaves nothing to be desired. Should you be catering for more than 15 people, we recommend you choose the wine in advance (delivery time apx. 10 days). This will allow us to prepare everything to your satisfaction.
