This year's Commencement exercise theme was “Say Yes to God’s Plan.” It is a perfect time for these graduates to say yes because they can change the world.

Regina and our community are healthier and more vibrant—we have the largest enrollment in over thirteen years! This remarkable progress is a testament to your unwavering support. Our emphasis in the coming year will be the state-of-the-art athletic complex and improvements to facilities and individual academic departments. Your intentional support to Regina continues to play a crucial role in providing a life-changing experience for our young women, the future leaders of tomorrow. We are excited about what lies ahead and appreciate your invaluable support!

With our deepest gratitude and Saddlelite Blessings, we thank each of you for your unwavering support. Your belief in our mission and dedication to our community makes Regina Saddlelite unique. Say yes!

Elizabeth Rademacher ‘ 97 Senior Director of Advancement

As a graduate of the class of 1997, I am so lucky to come home to a place that gave me so much! It seems like it was just yesterday that my classmates and I were getting ready to leave the halls of Regina High School. We were ready and prepared for the future because we, just like the girls here, had wonderful people in our corner to make sure we were ready to go out and become who God made us to be! From Sister Leanne to Nick Stann, we were very lucky to be loved by some of the best! I do not think I will ever forget the powerful words of our Powderpuff coach, Mr. Haines, who told us after our loss to Marian that “I understand what it feels to lose but you have faith, strength and courage and one game does not define who you are! Always have your faith and you will never lose!” Those words have always stayed with me!

I do not need to tell you all what a special place Regina is! To this day, some of my closest friends are Regina graduates. After I left Regina, I studied Elementary Education at the University of Detroit Mercy. At UDM, I realized the faith and guidance that I received at Regina was such a blessing! When I graduated, I soon realized that I was not meant to be a classroom teacher but I loved the world of fundraising. After I had my two children, Thomas 18 and Ella 16, I jumped into the world of helping people through development. I loved being able to raise money for causes that would deeply help people.

I am excited to be back at Regina and reconnect with you all! Regina is where legacy is formed, tradition is modeled and faith is taught. We all have so much to offer this next generation of Saddelites. I would love to see you at an event, school function and /or POWDERPUFF! I have heard this team is unstoppable this year!! Wouldn’t it be so amazing to have the stands full of Regina alumnae?!

My door is always open. Please stop by and see us. I will treat you some of the Regina FAMOUS chocolate chip cookies!!! The recipe is the same Ms. Mary Jo is still making them!

Saddelite Blessings,

Elizabeth Rademacher ‘97

P.S. In honor of graduation season and the beginning of Powderpuff training, I pulled out my very favorite graduation and Powderpuff photos!!!

March Plaidness

Our 2024 March Plaidness Alumnae Giving Challenge took place March 115 and it was our most exciting challenge yet! This year, we had 40 classes participate and 412 individuals donate. Because of this amazing support, we were able to raise $24,667! This competition proved again that Saddlelites are fierce competitors, and we will come together to participate in something that always holds a special place in our hearts; Regina High School.

Several classes showed true dedication throughout the tournament, especially the classes of 1978, 2009, 1994, and 1996. However, 1994 came ready to play as they did not want to relinquish their title. The class of 1978 came close, but 1994 once again prevailed. They had 53 people donate for March Plaidness and were Champions once again!!!

We are beyond grateful to all those who donated to this competition. The Alumnae Association was able to award FOURTEEN scholarships of $1,500 with your generosity! We understand, as alumnae, the value of a Regina education and experience, and we are truly making a difference to those who are now walking in the same saddle shoes we did.

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

Congratulations again to the Class of 1994 who is this year's best plaid...that is until next year!!
