The Winter 2025 brochure has numerous activities and programs for the Norwalk community! As we move into the new year, we are excited to share various new projects and programs that will enhance the quality of life for our community. As we say farewell to 2024, we are pleased to announce the completion of the following projects:
1. Surveillance camera installation at all 12 of our parks.
2. Park Connect, the city’s free Wi-Fi offered at all city parks.
3. Retrofitting of four (4) new playgrounds.
4. Norwalk’s first Dog Park at Robert White Park.
5. Retrofitting of baseball lights at Holifield Park and Zimmerman Park to light-emitting diode (LED) systems.
Cultural and artistic expression will thrive in 2025 as we start the new year with Las Posadas and the 14th Annual Artastic Festival, celebrating the rich traditions of art, dance, and music in Norwalk. For those seeking to stay active and engaged, we offer a variety of leisure classes, from dance to fitness, at the Norwalk Arts and Sports Complex, Cultural Art Center, and Aquatic Pavilion.
The Recreation and Park Services Department believes in the power of health, wellness, and community. We encourage you to explore this catalog and find new activities. We eagerly anticipate your continued support and look forward to seeing you in our parks and programs throughout the year!
Sincerely
