Thanks to the New Jersey Small Business Development Center, together with their partners at the New Jersey State Veterans Chamber of Commerce and American Red Cross, and with the Haitian Association of Students at Rutgers -Newark (HASAR), the Rutgers Newark community has successfully donated over 450lbs of items (clothing and shoes for women, men, children and infants) who have been impacted by this year’s recent tragedies. Diapers, baby wipes, and baby formula, and a bag full of approx. 90 COVID-19 protection packs (with masks, thermometers, hand sanitizer, and gloves) were also donated. An extended thank you to Shyeka Hopkins, Marketing Coordinator, NJ-SBDC for coordinating such tremendous efforts!
