Just a few short months ago, I made the decision to follow my values and join Harcourts Australia. Its stated core values - people first, doing the right thing, fun and laughter and being courageous - so closely aligned with my own and I was hopeful I would find those values being truly lived. Within a very short space of time, I saw those values were not only on the wall of every office I visited, but they were alive in the words and actions of a community of really fantastic people. In that time, Harcourts was also recognised as reaching the highly contested position of being the second largest brand in the country for the number of sales - achieved quietly, in just 24 years. It was a proud moment for many. Recently, it was announced that I’ll have the honour and privilege of leading this great brand into its future as CEO Australia, alongside COO Lisa Pennell. We’ve worked together for many years and have a unique partnership that will allow us to serve both the Harcourts support team and greater Harcourts network well, continuing to build on the legacy of past leaders. We’re surrounded by an exceptional team both in Australia and in Harcourts International who we are proud to work with, skilled individuals who also see the Harcourts values as far more than just branding. The coming 12 months will be a watershed for our technology, training, and branding strategy as a company. While we’re rolling out brilliant new technology to our people, we’re still resolutely committed to doing the right thing and putting people first in what is fundamentally a people business. That means enabling our members to achieve their potential with our steadfast commitment to supporting their goals and enabling their growth. The future is bright. The future is blue.

Lead by the Head of Marketing and Business Partnerships, Monika Kamienowska, the team have world-class expertise in all areas of Marketing and Communications including experience in Brand Management, PR, Design, CX, Content Development, and Social Media. This new team will offer the network incredible value and support, with new marketing assets, the first ever annual national campaign, ongoing training, crisis and complaint management support, a strong social media presence and a focus on dominating share of voice in the media.
