The ramp up to internet infrastructures and connections even in a far flung areas is a need for a greater development. On July 12, 2023, at exactly 9:45 AM, Sitio Bucarot, Adams, Ilocos Norte was officially connected to the cyberworld through the initiatives of Congressman FERDINAND ALEXANDER A. MARCOS, Governor MATTHEW J. MARCOS MANOTOC, the Department of Information and Communications Technology - Region 1, and INPPO led by PCOL JULIUS C SURIBEN.
Bridging the digital era and the need to deliver faster economic, social and educational connectivity and opportunities, the Installation of VSAT Internet Connectivity at Sitio Bucarot, Adams Ilocos Norte has provided hope and happiness to residents. The program will enhance public services especially to students on their education. The long time land dispute area between the municipalities of Adams and Calanasan province of Apayao which mostly composed of Isnag tribe has already resolved after a welcome marker was installed at said sitio. Lecture on the rights of Active Members of the Community by PCPT MARK JUAN, Provincial Legal Officer; Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar Monitoring and distribution of vitamins/ medicines and dental hygiene kits by INPMDU; KKDAT Session by Mr. Wilbert Palar and Mr. Darwin A Agullana, Provincial KKDAT Officers; and Parlor Games by KKDAT and FJGAD were also conducted.

The Ilocos Norte Police Provincial Office (INPPO) recently held its highly anticipated annual Sports Fest, aligning its activities with the 5 Focus Agenda of the Chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and embracing the 7-pronged approach of Manong PD focused on Health Management and Wellness Programs. The event aimed not only to foster camaraderie and teamwork among the police personnel but also to promote physical fitness and overall well-being, addressing the critical aspect of personal morale and welfare. The different sports activities, such as Tug of War, Sack Race, Volleyball, Basketball, adn Amazing Race (ongoing) were meticulously chosen to encourage physical activity and promote a healthy lifestyle among the police personnel. In addition to the competitive sports, the Sports Fest also featured recreational activities, creating a fun and stress-free environment for the personnel. The INPPO Sports Fest 2023 witnessed intense competitions among the different units, with each participant giving their best to showcase their skills and teamwork.
