The Provincial Plans and Program Unit of the INPPO is not contented with what the INPPO ICT capability of the moment. Instead, they are striving for a more dynamic information and communication technology capability to be a par if not to surpass the general communication equipment that the general public has. This is to achieve optimal and fast relay of communications as far as information’s are concerned. For the 1st semester of 2023, ICT development is established with the dedication of the Manong PD’s Conference and control room, which serves as the centralized control for all of audio and video equipment.

Red teaming operations is also given importance by the unit to motivate and empower the readiness and operability of every PNP personnel of the INPPO.
Keeping every motorist and tourist safe during their course of travel within Ilocos Norte makes the province a well loved tourist spot due to the friendly and courteous police personnel and community.
