STEPHEN MISIURAK '81 moved back home to Gibsons, Canada in 2018 where he works as a Registered Civil Engineer for the Sunshine Coast Regional District as a Capital Projects Manager.

CAROL LEX TANNER ’59 lives in a beautiful retirement community in South Orange County and is busier than ever before, [mostly having] lots of fun!

SUSAN DAY LACKA '60 – “I’m sheltering at home in Pasadena, since I'm a ‘senior’ and apparently more at risk for Covid-19. Been through anger, frustration, and anxiety learning to cope. But I'm fine now, cleaning out cupboards, drawers, etc. I'm looking forward to stores and restaurants reopening and businesses recovering. Hope you all are well. God Bless!” RUTH DEMARCO MCGOVERN '60 has been married for 55 years with three sons, nine grandchildren, and one greatgrandson. She still sees her friends from Providence and loves them all!

BEATRIX CHRISTINE BLANS-DUGGAN '71 is a retired Nurse Practitioner with 13 grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. She lives in Follansbee, WV with her husband, Michael. KARLA HOKR CARLSEN '72 retired in July 2019 and is grandma to Levi Ratekin, age three, and Connor Ratekin, age four months. DIANA PEEBLER '76 is a Senior Environmental Scientist with CalEPA's Department of Toxic Substances Control where she supervises staff engaged in the management of hazardous waste in CA. She's been at the Department since 1987. Diana and her husband, Timothy Naprawa, have been married for 26 years and have two children, 20 and 17. Daughter is a junior at Saint Mary's in Moraga and son is entering his senior year at California High School in San Ramon. 26 | Vista

ANGELA MASTANTUONO '01 is currently a Catholic Elementary School Principal at Saint Anthony's in San Gabriel serving grades preschool-eighth and has been in education for the past 16 years. MICHAEL L. VOGELSANG, JR. '01 is a Principal at The Employment Law Group law firm, where he has worked since 2007. He frequently handles cases that involve whistleblower retaliation, employment discrimination, wrongful termination, and other workplace claims. In 2019, Super Lawyers recognized him as a “Rising Star.” Michael received his law degree from the American University, Washington College of Law and is a member of the Virginia State Bar and D.C. Bar. He graduated summa cum laude from the American University’s School of International Service, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies. He spent a semester abroad studying Latin American culture and language in Santiago, Chile, and is conversant in Spanish. TONY LEONG '02 is an Emmy awardwinning news producer for NBC Bay Area and has been nominated for another Emmy. DALE FASSOTH '03 works for LA County Department of Public Health, Health Facilities Inspection Division. Before that, he worked as an RN taking care of neurology patients, primarily those suffering from strokes.

ELIOT HAN '03 – “I work in the Research Pharmacy at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Currently, I am working on new drug therapies for Covid-19. Hoping everyone is staying safe at this time!” DANIELLE MALATY '03 is an experienced trial and appellate attorney in state and federal court, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. She defends both governmental and private entities, and her area of expertise includes discrimination, retaliation, violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, sexual assault and abuse, violations of the Fair Housing Act, class action litigation, and employment disputes. Danielle is also an experienced litigator in premises liability, product liability, and professional liability. Her writing has been published by DRI, Bloomberg BNA, ABA, and NRRDA. She is a frequent speaker on continuing education panels through several organizations, including CLM and PLRB. ABBIGAIL BRIONES '05 is Deputy District Attorney with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. ALEX CORDON '05 – “I'm an electrical engineer working for the Navy doing test and evaluation of ship subsystems. I write quite a bit of code, provide inputs to assessment reports, and am part of process modernization efforts (data science, methodologies, documentation).” JANET HAN KIM '05 – “I’ve been working in CHLA Neurosurgery as a Physician Assistant for almost seven years. I will be moving to Cedars Sinai Neurosurgery in September 2020. I got married July 1, 2017 to husband Eugene Kim, MD (who also works at CHLA).” DEEPTI MADAN '05 graduated from a master's program and was accepted into her top choice medical school in Southern California. She is incredibly grateful for her initial foray into medicine through the Health Careers Focus Program at Providence High School.
