World Languages & Cultures Department

This award is granted to students who show a passion for World Languages and Cultures and outstanding dedication to and achievement in their studies. Isabella is an excellent language student. She loves Spanish and has worked diligently the entire school year. She paid excellent attention to detail and went beyond what was required of her academically in the Spanish classroom. During classroom discussions and in her written work, Isabella analyzed the topics presented in class and synthesized beautifullyexpressed responses that demonstrated her solid command of the language and deep cultural understanding. It has been a great joy to witness part of Isabella's journey in her exploration of Spanish. She tells us she will continue taking Spanish in college and is considering minoring in the language.
