Ishaan is a lover of language learning. He spends time outside of school teaching himself Japanese, and takes advantage of all opportunities to practice his skills with the Spanish language. Ishaan’s grades reflect a strong understanding of the Spanish language and culture, and is always inquisitive, wanting to learn more. Ishaan is the only student to earn a Gold medal on the level 4 National Spanish Exam! His work ethic and interest in language learning are exemplary and he is mature beyond his years. Ishaan is respectful of his classmates, lends a helping hand when needed, and embodies the Portledge Pillars.
