Science Department

This student has exhibited intellectual growth over his four years in the Upper School. With rare exceptions for varsity sports, he is first to show up for class and last to leave. He tackles each problem with seriousness and focus. He is especially keen on experimentation, and guides his classmates with a steady hand. This year's twelfth-grade award for Love of Learning in Science goes to Noah Capps.

The Academic Excellence Award in Science goes to an individual who challenged themself in two science classes. She was actively engaged in class sessions and always shared her exuberance. Her strong study skills and natural ability to understand biological topics resulted in consistently excellent work in AP Biology and Anatomy & Physiology. I suspect that she will someday make major contributions to the world of science. This year’s award for Academic Excellence in Science goes to Ella Stacconi.
