Mathematics Department

The Portledge Outstanding Achievement in Mathematics Award is given to a student who has shown exceptional mathematical performance during their time at Portledge. This distinguished award in mathematical achievement goes to a kind-hearted, hardworking, and humorous student. He takes any challenge thrown at him and he is happy to work with anyone. His extensive knowledge of mathematics and impressive problem-solving skills set him apart from his peers. However, the trait that really makes this awardee truly deserving is his tenacity. He will not give up on a problem, no matter how difficult or time consuming. The Mathematics Department is honored to present this award to Luke Foley.
