Since the very beginning of this year's class in Advanced Modern World History, one student has set herself apart by exhibiting an extremely high degree of intellectual curiosity and dedication to the study of history. Thus, the History Department is proud to present an award for love of learning to Ellis Rosenberg.

But for this student, his preparation is meant to master the content, to understand the story behind an event, and to know the why. That is why this year's tenth-grade Academic Excellence History Award goes to Jeremy Ratner.
