DALE JACKSON

Dale treats stories like friends. He loves to spend time with them, and he is excited to connect them with one another. He always listens to stories intently, but leans in with special attention when metanarrative talks about itself. And, already a budding cultural critic, Dale is delighted to join the conversation when media works talk thoughtfully about one another. Dale also understands that diverse media forms exist in community with each other, and is constantly linking reading material from inside and outside of class to his favorite music and films. His enthusiasm is so palpable and contagious that an hour-long conversation about literature with Dale seems to go by in a blink. It is a delight to work with Dale as he avidly explores the complex web of dialogue between authors, and a gift to share in his deep love for art and story.
