Cum Laude

Modeled on Phi Beta Kappa, Cum Laude strictly regulates the standards of each school chapter and establishes precise limits on the number of students that can be admitted. The requirements to be considered for Cum Laude are rigorous and highly selective. Students must achieve at the highest level in the most demanding curriculum offered at the school. Character matters. Student conduct is reviewed and discussed and attention is paid to a variety of standards before final approval is given. The total number of inductees must not exceed 20% of a senior class and 10% can be inducted as juniors.
