Bliss Award

The Bliss Award in theatre goes to a student who truly embodies what a Portledge theatre student represents: a caring, collaborative, supportive, dedicated and fallon-your-face-fearless student. During his four years here, this student was an integral part of holding our community together during the challenging COVID years. Despite Zoom improv, virtual scene work and the now famous outdoor Pippin, this student has only grown and excelled. He has taken every theatre course offered, participated in every show and project, and was co-leader of Theatre Club this year. He is a fantastic performer, but more importantly he is a fantastic person. I could go on and on about what this student has meant to our theatre community, but I think you get the point. John - break a leg at TCU and know that the Black Box and everyone in it will miss you. The Bliss Award - Theatre goes to John DeLuca.
