It’s important to recognize and celebrate innovation. But more importantly, to try and understand what factors helped shape the innovators. The old saying, “It takes a Village,� is true. A few months ago when Ponca City Monthly agreed to feature the “Five� on our cover, I did not know I would be among them. I’m so glad I could check “grace the cover of my own magazine� off my bucket list, and get it out of the way. I’m truly honored to have been selected, and I’m already looking forward to next year’s group.
