Here is where the road divides , Here is where we realize The sculpting of the Father 's great design. Through time you've been a friend to me, But time is now the enemy. I wish we didn't have to say goodbye. But I know, the road He chose for me Is not the road He chose for you, So as we chase the dreams we're after, Pray for me, and I will pray for you. And one day love will bring us back around, again.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud, it is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

-1 Corinthians 13:4-7

But the lord answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered about so many things; but only a few things are necessary, really only one, for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

1. Hailed as the ntrial of the century", O.J. Simpson's murder case riveted the entire country. Who cares if he's guilty or innocent, as long as the courtroom antics entertain? 2. It was a match made in tabloid heaven: The child of one of the two biggest stars in rock history married the other biggest star in rock history. Here they are at the MTV Music Video Awards, right after their infamous opening kiss.

3. Pasadena welcomed the world for the 1994 World Cup last summer. Brazil's team defense handed the country its fourth world title--and hundreds partied in the streets of Old Town that night. 4. Storms battered much of California in early 1995, causing severe floods in many areas and adding one more natural disaster to our state's woes.

5. Outmanned and outgunned, the Chechnyans' fierce struggle against the Russians for independence captiviated the world. 6. Newt Gingrich became Speaker of the House and took the nation by storm with his Contract with America. 7. Rwanda's tragic civil war killed over 500,000 and left millions homeless. 8. Japan's nightmare of a disastrous urban earthquake came true on January 17, 1995, killing more than 5000 people.

for Jan:

To a sister, a dau8hler, a friend, To one who's feelin8 never ends.

To the one we've raised, And who's 8rown on her own, Just know lhal you'll never be alone.

To the one who slru88les and stirs, In our minds your ima8e always occurs.

To the one who's smile is as sweet as the curve of her face, Your voice in our ears can no one erase.

To a journey of ei8hleen-some years, With the one with whom we've shared our fears.

To a lau8h lhal bri8hlens our eyes, Can't wail 'ti l your moment arrives.

To one whose life touches endless others, Most of all that of her brother's.

Con8radualions and countless kisses, from your mother and father, and brother's wishes.

Con8ratulations to Jan and the Class of 1995.
