REGULAR PROGRAMS 

Book Club—The Virtual Book Club is under construction.

Chess Night—February 8th and 22nd from 6 to 8pm. Learn to play chess with David. Already an expert? Stop in to find a worthy opponent!

Bookmobile—February 1st and 15th at 1:30 pm. Bookmobile currently runs to Heritage Tower every two weeks. If you know of a resident who would benefit from this service, please call the library.

Tabletop Gamers—February 1st and 15th from 6 to 8pm. All ages welcome! We’re switching up the format with trivia (Feb. 1st) and a group game (Feb. 15th). Pizza and snacks included and provided by Domino’s Pizza and Mint Drugs. Come check it out!

Nerf Wars!—February 9th AND 23nd from 4:45 pm to 6pm. For ages 9+. Parents welcome. Registration required. Nerf Wars has been SO popular that we have added a new night so more people can play! We ask that you only register for one night per month to allow others a chance to join the battle!

REGULAR PROGRAMS 

After School Club—Wednesdays and Thursdays at 4:00pm - 5:00pm starting January 10th. Ages 7 to 12 welcome. Come Wednesday or Thursdays or both! Always something new to try. *School bus drop off available.

Story Time with Peace ParentLink—Fridays at 10:30am. This program is designed for children under 5 years old but all children are welcome to attend. Parent participation is required. Check our website or Facebook for titles.

Digital Literacy—Taking a Break for February. If your question can’t wait, please bring it to the circulation desk and we will do our best to help you.

Movies at the Library—Taking a Break for February. Our Movies at the Library program is being reformatted. Please, check back in March!

Sole to Soul I —January 24th to February 21st. Peace of Art is back to show us their latest treasures!

Exhibit Opening—January 24th from 6 to 8pm. Come meet the artists and see Peace of Art’s latest exhibit, Sole to Soul I.

Speed Dating for Biblophiles—February 14th at 6:30pm. Are you looking for that special someone to spend Valentine’s day with? How about a book? They always have time for you. They enjoy a quiet night in on the couch or travelling across the country. They never raid your refrigerator or complain about your housekeeping skills! Come find your perfect match. This is a free event. No registration required. You will need a Library Card to take your date out of the Library.

ONLINE RESOURCES www.TRACpac.ab.ca—TRACpac is an online catalogue system that lets you search the collections of many libraries across Alberta. It also lets you manage your account so once you find the item you are looking for, you can request it right from home. It also lets you check what you have out and when your items are due back. You can renew your items right from your computer, tablet, or phone. TRACpac also gives you access to Libby (formerly Overdrive) for digital audiobooks and e-books and Hoopla for digital audiobooks, music, movies, TV and more. Sign on to TRACpac with your library card number and password (phone your library if you don’t know it) and start exploring.

Computers & Internet We have 8 computers connected to the internet with programs installed to handle most needs. Free for all of the public to use. Must check in at Circulation Desk. Limited to 2 hours per day. Exam Proctoring If you need to write an exam for distance education, we offer proctoring. There is a fee of $40 for this service.
