Festival entertainment costs

Like many other jobs, DJs normally get paid by the hour. Professional DJs are more likely to have a fixed rate or a starting salary depending on the budget of the event that they will be attending, the venue and location, the duration and theme of the event as well as the date. All DJs can be booked through a booking agent they are allocated to or an entertainment agency. Because the festival is virtual, there is no need in paying for added expenses a normal festival would have to pay for such as travel, accommodation, cost of shipping equipment to the venue, airfare and even food.

Entertainment costs The cost of an in-demand DJ or celebrity DJ is between £500-£5,000 per hour. This is based on industry averages for pricing and does not include VAT.

With the line-up of 12 acts with 2 hours sets each, it could cost between £12,000 - £120,000 depending on how much each artist charges.

Equipement hire for entertainment If the entertainment needed to hire equipment to perform the stream, ASOS would have to provide the cost of that. A standard day hire of a DJ system and equipment could cost to up to £700 a day for each act, with a total cost of up to £8,400 or more for the equipment hire which includes mixing decks, monitors, microphone packages, lighting packages, stage boxes, cables and sound engineers if needed as well as sound systems.
