The Virtual Fitting Room

Virtual fitting room
in collaboration with Zeekit
The VFR technology used for a virtual fitting room allows customers to try on clothing and accessories on a 3D avatar of themselves to generate a personalised and engaging experience. The AI algorithm evaluates the individual and collects biometric data with the consumers’ camera analysing their physique and movements digitally, selecting the appropriate style and size of the garment chosen with the image using AI technology. The learning model then directs the key points of the customers’ body.

Zeekit is a technology based company offering interactive shopping experiences for fashion brands like ASOS. ASOS’s recent collaboration with Zeekit during the COVID-19 pandemic involved the use of AR technology to create real life model photography on the website, offering a digital view of up to 500 products each week on 6 real life models. Each product was digitally mapped onto the model, remaining realistic and and ensuring the models socially distanced. ASOS also trialled a ‘See My Fit’ feature on their website, allowing customers to view a garment on a model of their choice.
