A message from our CEO As we near the end of the year, and with the festive period upon us, I want to take this opportunity to look back at some of the great things we’ve achieved as a Group throughout 2023.

Tremendous strides have been made within Project One, starting with the launch of our new, streamlined applicant screening process. Many of you have also joined our new Engage app, launched in June, meaning over 4,000 Norse employees can now effectively communicate and connect with colleagues across the Group.

To further encourage its use, the Project One team runs a free monthly £1,000 prize draw over six months for employees who have joined Engage.

It was also fantastic to attend the Norse Group Excellence Awards earlier this year and celebrate the outstanding achievements of our staff.

This charter represents our dedication to fostering an environment where every employee, regardless of race or ethnicity, feels respected, included, and empowered to succeed.

Lastly, I would like to thank you all for your hard work and dedication to Norse Group over the past 12 months, acknowledge those who will be working over the festive period to provide vital services to our customers, and wish you and your families a very happy Christmas.

Amsterdam Place update Following approval from the Board, as announced back in August, the acquisition of our new head office, Amsterdam Place, has been successfully concluded.

As part of our strategic realignment, we are preparing for the upcoming sale of Iceni Court, and the main portacabin situated next to our current head office will be returned in February 2024.

While the Senior Management Team has outlined an overarching plan for the layout and setup, we place great importance on individual perspectives, contributions, and collaboration from our people.

Amsterdam Place will be the new head office for Central Divisional teams – Care, Commercial and Consulting - and our Business Support Services functions, but will also be open for all colleagues when visiting Norwich.

Our attention is now on making the most of this new space to meet our shared needs effectively.

With this in mind, we will focus on minor refurbishments and essential IT upgrades to ensure the area perfectly fits our needs.

New appointments 1

We are delighted to announce that we have appointed Joanna Huxtable as Senior Director of Norse Care.

Jo brings a wealth of experience and will join us in January 2024.

We also recently completed the recruitmentprocess to appoint a Commercial Director of the Highways and Transport Divisions.

Jason Glasspoole was successful and has accepted the appointment with immediate effect.
