The Exchange
A
message from our CEO
Dear colleagues, as we approach Spring and leap into the new financial year, I am excited to see what the rest of 2024 holds. The group has been very busy over the past few months, with some large projects making significant progress. We launched our new brand, continued developing Project One, and are moving closer to the launch of People XD. Our relocation to Unity Place is already under way with some teams relocated to our new HQ.
I want to thank each of you for your unwavering support during these transformative times. Your dedication and commitment have been instrumental in helping us navigate these foundational changes and move forward as a business.
We are entering a new era for the organisation as we strive to deliver the best service for our employees, clients, and communities. united in our purpose, I am confident we will see great success in the future.
Rebrand
I want to thank those who supported the launch of our new brand. It has been a long journey that has solidified us as one group. It was great to see the UK-wide support for our new era on Engage and to see so many of you embracing the change.
The rebrand is more than just a logo; it is about being united in our aims and focusing on our employees, clients, and communities. We will ensure our ethos and values are embedded in every decision.
Please continue supporting our transition as our corporate communications team works with you to help bring our brand to life and help develop our culture.

Townhall Meetings
I’m pleased to report that we successfully hosted two Townhall Sessions earlier this month, aimed at engaging a broader audience across the Group.
Historically, these sessions were targeted primarily at colleagues in Business Support. In an effort to ensure all colleagues have the opportunity to hear from members of the senior management team, we’ve expanded the scope to include all business areas, including the chance to join the meeting via Teams.
Are you up for the Public Sector Challenge 2024?
I am thrilled to announce that Norse is a proud main sponsor of the Public Sector Challenge 2024, featuring the formidable Yorkshire Three Peaks this year.
Participants will embark on an exhilarating journey to conquer the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough within a challenging 12-hour timeframe. This presents an exceptional opportunity for adventure, team spirit, and personal achievement, aiding a vital cause – Cancer Research UK.
I’m excited to see a team from Hamson Barron Smith has already pledged their participation, showcasing our Group’s enthusiasm and commitment. Good luck to all those involved.
We’re also planning two additional sessions for the autumn, with dates to be announced soon. This initiative is a fantastic opportunity for you to hear about the business, our progress, and future plans. To keep everyone up to date, we will be releasing a highlights video from the spring Townhall session featuring updates from Strategic Development Director, Paul Pawa and myself. Keep an eye out for the video which we’ll share on the intranet and Engage, and further details on the autumn sessions!

I am pleased to announce that as part of our commitment to sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint, our sustainability team is conducting a survey to gain insight into our commuting patterns.
This survey aims to help us understand how our employees travel to and from work and to explore opportunities to promote more environmentally friendly and employee-focused alternatives.
If you have received an email in April, please take the time to complete it. Your input is invaluable in helping us develop strategies and future initiatives that support sustainable commuting practices, improve employee wellbeing, and contribute to a greener future.
If you have any questions or feedback, please get in touch with the sustainability team at esg@norsegroup.co.uk
It’s important that we hear you thoughts and views from around the Group so please send your feedback to the senior team by emailing communications@norsegroup.co.uk or you can contact any of the team directly, at any time.
Team Norse Joins Run Norwich Lineup
Earlier this year, I announced that the Group would be Run Norwich’s co-main sponsor for the 2024 race.
It was an immediate fit for us as the charity Community Sports Foundation, like ourselves, is driven to help support communities.
A group of Norse employees will join the wave of charity runners at the Run Norwich start line later this year, running on behalf of the Group for one of our chosen charities - Mind or Macmillan.
We are sending our runners lots of luck for September’s race!
Road to Wellness
Our Road to Wellness calendar is a fantastic resource that benefits our employees.
The packs feature the health benefits of key awareness days, wellbeing initiatives, and focuses that everyone across the Group can get involved with.
In Quarter 2: May – Mental Health Awareness Month / National Walking Month June - Healthy Eating Week, Pride Month
If you want to know more about the packs, speak to your manager directly.
As always, we would really like to hear from you, so please send your feedback to the senior team by emailing communications@norsegroup.co.uk, or contact me directly at any time.
