I heard back from the Public Utility Commission regarding the complaint I filed with respect to Aqua’s service to the community. The commission members that I spoke with stated that individual members must file a complaint in the event of any water-related issues. The phone number for the Public Utility Commissions is 1-800-692-7380, bureau of customer service. In addition, you can contact https://www. puc.pa.gov/complaints/. The phone number for Aqua’s Regional Office is 570-6470358. It is important that if you have an issue with your water, you as the member must file a complaint. Management, as per my conversation with the Public Utility, cannot file a complaint on behalf of a member. The complainant must be the party that is affected.

I attended a meeting with representatives from Aqua, the water supplier for the community. Bill Vaccaro, Treasurer, and Board member Grace Zoccali were in attendance to discuss concerns regarding Aqua’s communication with the community. We discussed the notification process as it relates to water outages and construction work on the system. We are hopeful that moving forward there will be more open communication with the water system provider. The Public Utility Commission has been investigating a complaint that was filed regarding the water company. The TLCA residents are reminded to contact the water company directly should they be experiencing issues with their water. The contact number in Honesdale for Aqua is 570-6470358. The member must file a complaint for it to be acted on. There have been several questions that have been raised
