Health Awareness Week

At Rokeby School we are committed to promoting healthy living, positive mental wellbeing and emotional awareness for all our students. This year we will be holding our annual Health Awareness Week during the week beginning 3rd June 2024.

This week-long programme will provide students with the opportunity to participate in a range of physical activities, learn strategies to promote positive physical and mental wellbeing, as well as explore the benefits of improved lifestyle choices through the curriculum.

In addition to themed classroom based activities, each year group will have one dedicated day to participate in physical activities delivered by Born4Sport. On this day, students should arrive at school in PE kit and need to ensure that they have a water bottle with them as they will be physically active all day.

If you have any questions about the week, please speak to your sons form tutor

Rokeby School - Language Leaders

This week more of our Language Leaders visited New City Primary School to teach Spanish to year 6 students. Thank you to Fahad Khan, Sulaimaan Mufti and Jisan Rahman in 9K.They did a fantastic job at keeping the students engaged by bringing elements of fun and choral repetition. Well done!

Also, 8Y put their language skills to real-life in G2 with Ms Allan and had some interesting dining experiences. Most of the boys created their own script and some even got dressed up! A very well done to all that performed this week. If you are interested in becoming a Language Leader, speak to your teacher.
