activities at Eastlea
As part of our careers education, on Thursday 12th June our Year 8 students had an exciting Enterprise Workshop delivered by INSPIRE and DWS, a global asset management company. They learnt about being an entrepreneur and worked on their presentation and employability skills throughout the day. They developed a sustainable product, of which the winning groups went on to a careers carousel speaking to all the volunteers about their jobs and the routes available into various careers. It was a great opportunity for our Year 8 students to become wider world ready, as part of our fantastic careers programme here at Eastlea.
