Extra curricular activities at Eastlea

Year 10 had the pleasure of visiting Hampton Court Palace on Wednesday 18th June.

It was a glorious day to experience the splendid grandeur of the palace whilst using the opportunity to do some Henry revision prior to the History mock taking place!

Students got the opportunity to be given a guided tour and explore the grounds after lunch, including the maze which was great fun It was a fantastic day. Well done year 10 History team!

School Student Wellbeing Survey Eastlea is currently working to achieve the Wellbeing Award for Schools - a school improvement award. This is a national award, developed in partnership with the National Children’s Bureau, which places good emotional wellbeing and positive mental health at the heart of the culture and ethos of the school.

Your views are important in helping us understand what we are doing well and how we can do even better.

You will have received an email on 13.6.25 entitled Eastlea Community School Student Wellbeing Survey Please click on the link in the email and complete it. It should only take a few minutes. All responses and suggestions will be carefully considered and used to plan a range of school improvements.

Ofsted Inspection Report Further to my letter dated 23rd May, we have now received the Ofsted Inspection Report and it is linked here.

I am extremely proud to inform you that following the recent inspection Ofsted has now recognised the school as ‘Good’ in all areas.’ The inspectors recognised the improved quality of education, the high ambitions we have for our students and the personal development opportunities provided. We will continue to build on these strengths to ensure all students receive the highest quality education in a safe, happy and inclusive environment.
