1 200 to be discharged from Henties “iso-facility” Rudi Bowe As many as one thousand two hundred people are due for discharge from the Covid-19 quarantine facility at Henties Bay. This confirmed earlier this week by the Deputy Minister of Health and Social Services, Esther Muinjangue who is on a visit to Erongo. Muinjangue attended a ceremony at the Twaloloka quarter in Kuisebmond in Walvis Bay where tents were handed over residents who were victim to a devastating fire on Sunday night which claimed the life of a baby boy (also see article above). “The people are fine. They can be discharged now, and we must welcome them back in our communities. We never know who will be affected next. It can be one of our family members and we need therefore to treat one another with dignity and without prejudice”, said Muinjangue. Muinjangue renewed calls for Namibians to adhere to non-pharmaceutical interventions to curb the spread of the Coronavirus which is known to cause
