MODULE DESCRIPTION This module introduces us to spatial design that suit human ergonomics, habitation and work by being aware on the given scope and context with the idea of compact design. We are also given opportunity to deliver our ideas and translate them into the design.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION SOUL TALES

Soul Tales is an art center where people could explore the story and experience the soul of Wayang Kulit tradition throughout the space. It consists of 5 main spaces which are vestibule (Prologue), retail area 1 (The Actual), retail areaa 2 (The Escapism), cafeteria (The Vault), and workshop-theater (Epilogue) with many interesting activities which allow public to come over to "check in" especially youngsters to allow them immerse into this tradition to keep the culture inheritated.

INTERACTIVE POP.UP CAPSULE We are to design an interactive pop up capsule for the selected support service, activities, and promotion. It needs to embedded with mechanisms portrayed the selected idea and

able to attach and detach from the "mothership"

IDEA EXECUTION WAYANG KULIT Wayang Kulit is a traditional puppet-shadow show that holds great prominence in Malaysia. It combines deep spiritual meaning, entertaining storytelling, extraordinary musically, deep philosophical messages, current political commentay, and bawdy humor.

doing

this

assignment,

I

learned

how

to

utilize

space

wisely

by

knowing

the

compact

REFLECTION

design technique with consideration of ergonomics.

Most importantly, I learned to carry out deep research and extract the meaning behind it and it was really fun and amazing as I did not expect I could have so many ideas from there.

The

moment

I

felt

interesting

is

when

attending

tutorial

class.

With

that,

I

can

straight

to

recieved many feedback and advices from tutor as well as to make improvements in order to learn something new and produce a better outcome.

Beside that, the moment I think quite hard would be the starting process. It was quite hard to have

an

idea

and

extract

whatever

meaning

behind

it

in

creative

and

abstract

way.

Fortunately, by doing mindmap and organize every single thing I found, I was able to make it.

To

conclude,

even

though

this

semester

was

still

majority

online,

but

I

am

so

glad

to

learn

many new things including compact design, composition and rendering technique throughout the whole semester.
