The Craig Milverton Trio (above right) will perform a tribute to the piano playing great, Oscar Peterson, at the First Friday Jazz Club in Swimbridge on January 7th. Craig has performed at many top venues, including Ronnie Scotts, Dean St Pizza Express and the Concorde Club. He is a former winner of the jazz piano category of the British Jazz Awards. This is a must for all piano fans, and those who love jazz that swings. With Craig will be Ashley John Long on double bass and Coach York on drums (you can hear a clip on our website). Swimbridge Jubilee Hall has a professional lighting system, licensed bar, disabled parking and easy access. Do come along and hear some of the best live jazz around in one of the South West’s newest music venues. First Friday Jazz Club meets at Swimbridge Jubilee Hall, Barnstaple Hill EX32 0PQ on the first Friday of every month. Doors open 8pm, music start 8.30 prompt, tickets are £10 (see advert page 14).
