“Doctors” Producer is WORDS’ April Speaker P

eter Lloyd, series producer of the multi award-winning BBC daytime drama series “Doctors” will talk about the process of bringing the daily show to the screen at Bromsgrove School’s Library and Resources Centre on Thursday, April 2nd at 7.30pm.

Educated at South Bromsgrove High School and Aberystwyth University, Peter joined the BBC at Pebble Mill in Birmingham in 1997 and has worked as script editor on Dalziel and Pascoe, Dangerfield, The Scarlet Pimpernel and two series of the Afternoon Plays. “Doctors”, which celebrates its 20th birthday in March, is set in the fictional West Midlands town of Letherbridge and follows the lives of the staff of an NHS doctors’ surgery and a university campus surgery.
