Stoke Prior Tower Project
St Michael and All Angels, Stoke Prior Restoration Project
In 2014 a corner of the bell tower fell off our beautiful 12th Century church. Six years on, we are working closely with the National Lottery Heritage Fund and nearing the end of our development phase.

Our mission is to utilise the church as a community space and share its amazing history. There are yew trees in the churchyard which are 1200 years old. This means there was a place of worship on this site when the Vikings landed on our shores.
We now have to raise money to create a contingency fund for the delivery phase of the project. We need to raise £16,000. We have a variety of events and activities planned for this year to help achieve this sum. We call it ‘Fun’draising. Our aim is to make our journey creative and enjoyable by reaching out to as many people as possible along the way. Come and be part of our journey and help restore a local, historical landmark.
