BOCCE BALL HAS COME TO QUAIL RUN!
At long last our bocce ball court is installed and ready to use. Thanks to Nancy Morrill for heading the fundraising effort, and to her family for filling in the last needed funds, her dream of having a bocce ball court here for all of us to enjoy has come true. The fundraising committee is proud to donate this court to Quail Run Senior Estates on behalf of the many residents who donated money, time, and garage sale items to fund our new court. While the court is open to all, we hope to establish a couple of bocce ball teams who can meet regularly to play. There will be a brief meeting in the clubhouse on Thursday, October 9 at 11:00 a.m. for those interested in learning the game and playing on a team. We can establish a regular play schedule at that meeting. If you are interested, but unable to make the meeting, call or text Nancy Morrill at 925-984-1762 to let her know.

Thanks to Armet’s Landscaping for doing the installation work, and to our own Bob Punches for adding the finishing touches to our court.
We hope you will all stop by the upper lawn area and check it out. The equipment to play the game is in the plastic storage box at the side of the court. Rules are inside the box, but if you have never played before it might be helpful to watch a couple of YouTube videos.
Please be courteous and put all equipment back in the box when finished playing.

This can be a written statement, an email, or even a text message sent to the office phone number.
