"Sept" is primarily an abbreviation for September, the ninth month of the year. It can also refer to a clan or family subdivision, particularly in the context of ancient Irish and Scottish history, or any group tracing descent from a common ancestor. Additionally, "Sept" (without a period) can be a variant spelling of sect, often meaning a religious group, though this usage is less common.
Here's a breakdown of the different meanings
September:
The most common usage is as the abbreviated form of the ninth month of the year
Clan or family subdivision:
In historical contexts, particularly in Ireland and Scotland, "sept" referred to a smaller, family- based group within a larger clan
Variant of "sect":
"Sept" can also be a less common spelling of "sect," referring to a religious group or denomination.

Did you know the pull tab of aluminum containers can help children with cancer? For the past several years, members and friends of Spirit of Joy Community Church have been collecting these ‘mighty’ tabs for the Ronald McDonald House in Loma Linda. The response from the collecting pool has grown to the point that for the past several years over 100,000 tabs have been delivered annually.
“Why?” you ask...good question. For every 5,000 tabs received, the Ronald McDonald House provides a FREE radiation treatment to a child stricken with cancer. That is why we refer to those tabs as ‘mighty’. In addition, those tabs are made of a stronger material than in the can. Because of this enhanced quality, the tabs are converted to artificial limbs for children at NO COST!
If you would like to participate in this ongoing event, just save those ‘mighty’ tabs. Once you have a bag, box, or can full, you may drop them off on the front porch of space 252.
Ronald McDonald and I thank you, in advance, for your support of this project! Together we can keep the spirit of mission and service alive.

How to solve sudoku puzzles
No math is required to solve a sudoku. You only need logic and patience.
Simply make sure that each 3x3 square region has only one instance of the numbers 1-9. Similarly, each number can only
appear once in a column or row in the larger grid. The difficulty on this puzzle is medium.

The Lighter Side
The Shredder
A young executive is working late one evening. As he comes out of his office about 8 p.m., he sees the big boss standing by the shredder in the hallway, a piece of paper in his hand.
"Do you know how to work this thing?" the older man asks. "My secretary's gone home and I don't know how to run it."
"Yes, sir," says the young executive, who turns on the machine, takes the paper and feeds it in.
"OK!" says the boss, "I just need the one copy."
The Burglar
The burglar broke into a house one night. Just as he was shining his flashlight around, he heard, "Jesus is watching you."
Nearly jumping out of his skin, he waited a bit. But just as he was pulling the wires from the electronics, he again heard, "Jesus is watching you."
His flashlight beam came to rest on a parrot. "Did you say that?" he hissed.
"Yep," the parrot confessed, then squawked, "Just trying to warn you that he is watching you."
"Who do you think you are?" the burglar chided.
"Moses," replied the parrot. "Moses?" the burglar laughed. "What kind of people would name a bird Moses?"
"The same kind of people who would name a Rottweiler Jesus!"*****
