Happy October to All!

Manager's Corner Manager's Corner

We are in the last quarter for 2025, 3 more months and we will be in 2026! As I write this it is September 3rd and we just got through a crazy windstorm, hope everyone is ok. I saw several tree service companies here taking care of the down trees, what a mess! I’m sure the house gutters are full of leaves so before winter comes you probably want to get them cleaned out before the rain.

Couple things to bring to your attention, the red zone here in the Clubhouse parking lot by the mailboxes are not for vehicles to park in. That is strictly for the mail truck to load and deliver the mail.

Guest in the community – So questions have come up periodically about guest versus residents. To clarify, if their name doesn’t appear on the lease, they are a guest to which the resident on the lease is 100% responsible for. If someone is visiting a resident, care giving, temporarily between places and the resident has registered them, they are a guest. Guest have no privileges in the community unless the residents are with them. If a resident has a guest staying with them for more than 20 consecutive days a year or 30 calendar days in a 12-month period you must bring them into the front office and register them as your guest. I hope this helps in clarifying what a guest is, if not please call the office.

Keep in mind the Recreation Center and Clubhouse does have air conditioning. If you are out and about and need to cool off please do not hesitate to step into one of the buildings to cool off. The heat sneaks up on you and before you know it you’re overheating, hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. The hottest times of the day here seem to be between 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., try to avoid being outside during those hours and don’t forget about your 4-legged babies they are much more susceptible to heat than we are. If your dog is an indoor dog their paws can burn pretty quickly on the asphalt as well.

Thank you for observing rent week and holding your reservation searches for the Clubhouse and Recreation Center till after the 5 of the month. Carols time during rent week is to process the rents and get them recorded in a timely manner so, your cooperation is appreciated. th

Resident concern/complaints are kept confidential by this office. All concerns/complaints must be in writing, those forms are kept right outside the office in the hallway. Take them, fill it out and sign it, please try to be as clear as possible. If they are not signed they will not be addressed, there has to be a way of communicating if needed.

Until next time,

Management
