June Managers Corner,

Happy June and Happy Father’s Day to all. I think it’s summer, you just never know with the weather. June is a busy month, High School graduations, Father ’s Day on the 15th, Summer begins on the 21st and the Plantation on The Lake Annual Luau on the 28th of June!

Update on the sewer project, as of today May 7th we are about 4-6 weeks to completion. We had hoped it would have been a lot further along but there are obstacles we have to contend with. By the time you get the Grapevine the fencing around the back lake should be completed and the landscaping on Pear Blossom will be completed as well. The Recreation Center Bathrooms, Clubhouse Bathrooms and Pool Showers have also been completed. The tables have also been replaced at the Clubhouse, please have tablecloths on hand when you reserve the Clubhouse it doesn’t matter if they are cloth or plastic. We are not sure what all the square markings were from but they certainly did a job on the tabletops.

Woody and I work diligently to keep the park up and replace things when needed. It’s consistent work in progress but this is why we have the community that we do have. We will always have projects, whether big or small we will always look for areas needing attention. This is a very large park, 177 acres and full of life, the ones that get involved in activities already know that. That being said, if we didn’t get to something that you ’ve seen and may require attention please write it down and submit it to the office.

Thank you for your understanding pertaining to rent week and waiting until after to schedule reservations etc., we appreciate it!

Sadly, Frank Mooney has retired from Lock up and Bill Goforth is back on with Wes Colony. Wishing Frank the best in his retirement.

Until next month,

Heidi & Woody
