Hello Neighbors,
I hope this message finds you well and enjoying the start of a sunny, relaxing summer! As your HOA President, I wanted to take a moment to say hello and share how grateful I am to be part of such a caring and close-knit community.
July is a great time to come together, whether it's waving hello on a morning walk, attending a community gathering, or simply checking in on a neighbor. We’re looking forward to several opportunities this season to connect, support one another, and continue making our park a wonderful place to live.
As the temperatures rise, please remember to stay cool, stay hydrated, and most importantly—look out for one another. A quick check-in with a neighbor on these hot days can go a long way.
I also hope you've had a chance to enjoy our new cornhole and bocce games next to the pool. They’ve been a fun addition, and it's been great seeing neighbors gathering, relaxing, and having a good time together.
Please keep an eye out for upcoming announcements about summer events, maintenance updates, and ways to get involved. As always, your ideas and input are welcome— your voice helps shape the community we all share.
Thank you for doing your part to keep our neighborhood safe, friendly, and beautiful. Wishing you and your family a joyful and peaceful July!
Sincerely,
Jerri Lynn Matoza

Lee has just recently moved to La Siesta Village. You may have already had a chance to meet her when she joined us with her family for the Mother’s Day breakfast.
Lee was born in Pomona, California and moved to Napa recently from Bishop, where she had lived for about 20 years. She worked for over 50 years in the spa industry doing massage, facials and all things “Beauty.” She has five children, 3 girls and 2 boys, 3 grandchildren and 6 greats. She loves to crochet, weave and sculpt. She is a lovely soft-spoken woman and is looking forward to meeting lots of new people. She invites any of her neighbors to stop by anytime for Coffee and Conversation.
Lorraine and Andrew Reiner have recently moved into the park at space #18, and we’re thrilled to have them as part of our community.
We can’t forget the third member of their family — Buddy, their beautiful 4-year-old Golden Retriever. He’s full of personality and certainly makes his presence known around the house. Such a sweet boy!
Lorraine and Andrew met while working in the healthcare field in Vallejo. Lorraine is originally from New York, while Andrew is a Napa native. After spending some time living in Vacaville, they’ve returned to Napa for good. Andrew is retired from the Vacaville Prison, and Lorraine was a nurse in Vallejo, making them both deeply connected to the area.
Their children and grandchildren are spread across the country, but we hope they’ll get a chance to visit Napa soon and see how well Lorraine and Andrew are settling into our community.
Lorraine is already getting involved and has joined us for Wednesday night Bingo — she’s a fan! Andrew has a passion for restoring classic cars and owns a very cool vintage T-Bird. It's currently under cover, but we’re looking forward to seeing it in all its glory!

A tour guide was showing a tourist around Washington, D. C. The guide pointed out the place where George Washington supposedly threw a dollar across the Potomac River. "That's impossible," said the tourist. "No one could throw a coin that far!"
"You have to remember," answered the guide. "A dollar went a lot farther in those days."
Little Johnny's teacher asks, "What is the chemical formula for water?"

A man goes into a bar and seats himself on a stool. The bartender looks at him and says, "What'll it be buddy?"
The man says, "Set me up with seven whiskey shots and make them doubles." The bartender does this and watches the man slug one down, then the next, then the next, and so on until all seven are gone almost as quickly as they were served. Staring in disbelief, the bartender asks why he's doing all this drinking.
"You'd drink them this fast too if you had what I have."
The bartender hastily asks, "What do you have, pal?"
The man quickly replies, "I have a dollar."
