Lava Cap Winery is a winery, located in Placerville, is seeking a temporary, full time cellar worker (hourly position) to add to our team for the 2022 harvest. Applicants must be able to demonstrate high attention to detail, awareness of job safety, the ability to complete tasks according to instruction, a strong work ethic and a willingness to be a key member of our winery. Performs various work assignments to include: racking, pumping, clarifying and blending of juice and wine. Operates and cares for tanks, barrels, pumps, presses, hoses and other cellar equipment. Assists in all phases of winemaking processes as well as care, maintenance, and sanitation of all equipment and facilities. This is a great opportunity to learn about the production of premium wine from a dedicated and passionate staff. Attendance/Schedule: Up to 6 days a week, 10 hours a day. Must have flexibility with scheduling, willing to work various days. Will require overtime and weekend work during harvest as needed. Position to begin immediately.
