Sheriff John D’Agostini and Sen. Brian Dahle spoke at the unveiling before two signs were mounted along the eastbound and westbound lanes of Highway 50 near Missouri Flat Road.
According to a statement from the Sheriff’s Office, the signs are placed on a strip of Highway 50 Ishmael drove regularly as a sheriff and Placerville police officer.
“As you drive by these signs, please remember deputy Brian ‘Ish’ Ishmael and keep his family in your thoughts and prayers,” the statement concludes.
