Radio Frequency EAS Electronic article surveillance tags are used to prevent shoplifting. The antenna-based tags are directly applied to the merchandise and are deactivated by the cashier during the checkout operation. If not deactivated, the tag will detonate when passing through the store’s electronic detection systems alerting the staff of the attempted theft.

RFID Radio-frequency identification (RFID) tags will require a reader device to transfer data. Hybrid Label Solutions for Loyalty and Brand Protection To build greater value for their authorized workshops and customers, Shell – the global lubricants market leader for 14 years – developed a B2B2C mobile loyalty application called ShARe (Shell Advantage Rewards).

Unique QR codes ShARe digitizes a customer’s pathway to purchase and was designed to improve the customer experience by allowing workshop owners and mechanics to order products online, grow their business and improve workshop operations and services. A key element of the program was the inclusion of unique QR codes on Shell lubricant bottles that allowed their channel partners to earn points and rewards by scanning the QR code via the mobile application.

RFID Labels Helps Fight Crime Counterfeiting attempts by criminals around the world are at an all-time high. Brands are frequently searching for ways to improve their product security. One way they can do this is by embedding an RFID tag in a label.

EAS tag Eas tags are great for products that are sought after, like a premium car wax. People sometimes try to steal the product from stores without paying. To minimize this problem, MCC can apply an EAS (Electronic Article Surveillance) tag that is buried into the label.
