recycLABEL™ Shrink Sleeve When Keurig Dr Pepper was awarded the sponsorship of USA Gymnastics, they knew they had to make a prestigious splash. Core Hydration water and flavored water demanded a premium appeal, nothing short of elite, to endorse the annual Core Hydration Classic.

Partnering with MCC, we launched a winning, eye-popping, sustainable full shrink sleeve graphic that hit the mark.

THE OPPORTUNITY Keurig Dr Pepper required the use of multiple production sites to meet the demand of the promotion.

Our label solution would need to be universal — able to accommodate the applicator differences at the site level — and sustainable to meet environmental goals and consumer messaging.

• The universal label design provided versatility throughout the packaging operations, incorporating a clear channel for all applicator systems, while supporting sustainability and wellness messaging.

RESULT • Produced over 50 million labels across Core Hydration water and flavored water using our recycLABEL™ technology.

• Enabled Keurig Dr Pepper to leverage Core Hydration as achieving balance with hydration and supporting the athletes’ wellness journey.

MCC’S SOLUTION • Leveraged recycLABEL™ shrink sleeve, a crystallizable PET label with washable inks that is APR-compliant and compatible with local PET recycling processes.

The label solution was converted across three packaging operations, from coast to coast, for Core Hydration and flavored water.

KDP is taking responsibility to address water challenges in areas prone to scarcity and drought. KDP aspires to achieve a net positive water impact by 2050 through higher efficiency water treatment infrastructure, 66% replenishment of beverage water, and projects such as the Indigenous Water Allyship Program, co-presented with One Drop and the Canada Water Agency at World Water Week.

Reuse, recycle, repurpose—KDP’s motto advocates for a more circular economy through material efficacy, packaging recyclability and compostability, and plastics alternatives. Your goals to make 96% of packaging recyclable or compostable and reduce virgin plastic use by 17% are ambitious, but innovation—such as the K-Rounds plastic- and aluminumfree pods and the Keurig Alta brewer—can drive progress.

KDP’s action strategy addresses the risks of climate change through energy efficiency and low-carbon energy use in operations, fleet decarbonization, partner and policy engagement, and regenerative agriculture and conservation. By taking decisive action across the value chain, KDP is working to mitigate climate impacts and build resilience for the future.

The quality and integrity of KDP’s products is based on respect for human rights and economic resilience of farmers and workers. Achieving 100% responsibly sourced coffee and cocoa in 2024, becoming the largest buyer of Fair Trade USAcertified coffees, and supporting 8,570 farmers and workers in the coffee supply chain are accomplishments to be proud of.
