NATIONAL UPDATES – TOTAL REWARDS

The Total Rewards team welcomed Morgan Scott to the team as the new Benefits Coordinator in January. Morgan is located out of the St. Louis office. Besides helping with benefit questions, she will be focused on our wellness program.
TEAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
• Coordinating with Regional Partners to establish regular craft market evaluations.
• Partnered with jobsites on year-end Craft communications regarding W-2s, 1095-Cs and Craft PTO payout.
• Implemented new Craft leave policy for bereavement, jury duty and military leave.
• Launched our new mental health resource, Lyra, along with the kickoff of our Mental Health Advocate network as of 1/1/23. In the first month we are seeing a significant increase in utilization in comparison to our prior EAP.
• Conducted the first Mental Health First Aid certification training for 14 partners.
• Implemented our new family building resource, Maven as of 1/1/23. Transitioned to the new maternity and paid family leave policies as of 1/1/23.
• Held 2 webinars regarding our new benefit programs that were attended by 90 partners.
• Wrapped up a successful benefits year answering over 2,600 benefit inquiries.
• Submitted for the 2023 Healthiest Employer award. We have already been notified that we are a finalist for Kansas City.
CURRENT PROJECTS:
• Managing the Total Compensation Cycle in the new SuccessFactors Compensation Module
• Collaborating with partners in the field to implement the new Craft Recognition Program
• Reviewing our Craft onboarding materials and workflows for handling job changes between Craft and Salaried
• Reviewing benefit administration products out in the marketplace
• Creating a survey for salaried partners to gain feedback on our benefit programs
UPCOMING PROJECTS:
• Developing McCarthy’s career architecture framework
• Conducting our first financial wellness challenge through Vitality in March
• Managing the HSA and 401(k) bonus deferral process
• Determining the Total Rewards strategy for 2024 Benefit Open Enrollment
