Your leadership will be pivotal in overseeing the development of exquisite, top-tier hospitality and winery projects that define the landscape of this thriving region, shaping the future of construction and leaving an enduring mark on the industry.
Nordby, renowned for its expertise in upscale luxury construction, is seeking an experienced Superintendent who will be responsible for providing strategic guidance on field execution and effectively collaborating with our respected trade partners to foster a collaborative on-site team environment.
We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong understanding of the intricacies of the high-end hospitality construction market.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight: Lead and oversee all phases of Winery construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Team Leadership: Direct and motivate on-site project teams, including subcontractors and vendors, to achieve project goals efficiently and effectively.
Resource Management: Manage project resources such as labor, materials, and equipment to optimize productivity and minimize waste.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle to maintain project momentum and minimize disruptions.
Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on project progress, address concerns, and ensure alignment with expectations.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing construction projects, preferably within the Hospitality and Winery space.
Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and regulations relevant to Hospitality construction.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams to achieve project objectives
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
