As always Lifestyle magazine is filled with ideas to warm up your autumn. Cyprus may be a small island but it’s BIG on a great lifestyle.
Wishing you a fabulous month wrapped up with inspiration and motivation for you to get the best out of your lifestyle. Whatever you do this month, stay stylish.

In Cyprus, wellness isn’t an indulgence — it’s a lifestyle. Morning swims, local produce, fresh air, and community connection form the backbone of a culture that values balance over burnout.
From farm-to-table dining to holistic fitness studios and spa resorts, the island is quietly positioning itself as a wellness destination for those craving both peace and purpose.
A sound bath is a meditative/healing session where participants typically lie down (or sit comfortably) while a facilitator uses instruments such as singing bowls, gongs, chimes, handpans, or bells to create soundvibrations around and through the body. It’s great for those who feel a bit out of balance, disconnected, or seeking a reset.
Cypriot medispas are shifting away from heavy injectables toward bioremodellers like Profhilo, skin boosters, and collagen stimulators that enhance rather than alter. The focus is radiant, hydrated skin that looks healthy in the sun. It’s beauty that complements, not competes with, the natural glow of Mediterranean living
Researchers now know that longevity isn’t only written in our genes, it’s deeply influenced by our daily habits. Studies of the world’s “Blue Zones” (regions where people often live past 100) reveal common lifestyle traits:

Plant-rich diets full of vegetables, legumes, and olive oil
Natural movement such as walking, gardening, and staying active throughout the day
Strong social connections and community belonging
An
1. Boosts Mood and Reduces Stress
Breathing fresh air and connecting with nature lowers cortisol (the stress hormone) and boosts serotonin levels. Sunlight also increases vitamin D, improving mood and energy — perfect for early morning beach sessions.
2. Deepens Your Practice
Without the walls of a studio, your senses open up. You become more aware of your breath, body, and surroundings — the sound of waves, birds, or wind naturally guides mindfulness and focus.
3. Strengthens the Immune System
Exposure to natural elements, sunlight, and outdoor air circulation helps stimulate the body’s immune response. It’s a gentle way to balance the nervous system and support overall wellness.
4. Enhances Grounding and Balance
Practicing on natural surfaces like sand or grass challenges your stabilizing muscles and improves your body’s sense of balance and movement.

This month, take a moment to ask yourself: What’s one small habit you can start today to nurture a longer, more vibrant life?

Ladies, we’ve all got a “type”: the tall, rugged bad boy with that heart-racing grin, or the charming guy who lights up a room. As a male coach working with women, and a former club DJ watching sparks fly in Ayia Napa’s clubs over 25 years ago, I’ve seen these patterns repeat Back then, preinternet, I was in a 13-year relationship, so I wasn’t chasing romance, but I noticed women drawn to charismatic types, only to crash when the thrill faded. Today, my clients are stuck on these archetypes, falling for physical allure but blindsided by heartbreak. Why? It’s our primal wiring, craving the “fittest” mates from a time when strength meant survival. Our ancestors picked partners for survival: strong men to hunt, vibrant women to raise kids The fittest got first choice, leaving leftovers for others. That instinct lingers, pulling us to fit bodies over fit values. But in 2025, survival’s about emotional strength, not physical prowess. Over the last 60-70 years, relationships have evolved from patriarchal “man leads” models to embrace equality Some straight, same-sex, or nonbinary couples now thrive on shared respect, not dominance. My Circology™ framework captures this on a polarity spectrum: some need a leader and supporter, others equal sharers, and all work if we tolerate differences Instagram’s perfect bodies and dramatic romances make unfit types seem ideal, pushing superficial ideals over substance.

After my relationship ended, I broke my pattern of chasing types. I still wanted hot, but prioritised my ideal dynamic I devised The Circus Question™, “Imagine you’re at a circus; which act or performer would you be, and why?”, as the tool to identify this. It worked. That’s when I started coaching others. Last year, I built Circology™ as the framework that uses this tool, helping identify your role and ideal dynamic, avoiding toxicity
How many truly know their ideal type? Only 10-20% have the self-awareness for it, rising to 30-40% with experience or tools like Circology™; 60-80% chase wrong types due to primal pulls Some experts agree our instincts misguide us, but Circology™ is the reset. Clients like Emma, chasing bad boys, used it to find matches aligned with her values.
Modern love isn’t about the fittest; it’s about the fit that lasts Andreas Matchcreator

NI LOVE MY AGE, I JUST DON’T WANT TO LOOK IT!
At the time of publishing I am celebrating my birthday and I'll be 54. When I was a kid, that seemed positively ancient. I remember thinking anyone over 40 had basically seen the dinosaurs. Fifty-four? That was retirement, wearing smock dresses and flat shoes and bingo halls. And yet… here I am on the cusp of 54. Still clubbing, still partying. And I love it. There’s something freeing about being this age. I’ve lived enough to know who I am, and I’ve stopped apologizing for it. I’ve seen my share of wins, losses, heartbreaks, and hilarious mistakes that now make for excellent stories over wine. There’s a confidence that only time can teach, a quiet voice that says, “You’ve got this. You’ve been through worse."
But loving my age doesn’t mean I want to look it or feel it and I don’t. I am grateful for getting this far without needing medication.
I am stronger than I was in my 30s. My energy is on top form. My joints don’t ache. My face? Well, let’s just say it’s aging gracefully. Sure, I have a few wrinkles, but they’re part of the story, and I embrace modern
aesthetics to enhance what’s already there. I’m not hiding my age; I’m celebrating it, on my own terms.
Loving my age doesn’t mean I want to look old. I want to look vibrant, alive, confident and polished in all the ways I choose. There’s joy in taking care of yourself, in combining experience with style, strength, and a little bit of playful vanity
I’m not chasing twenty anymore, no thank you. I don’t want to erase the years; I just want to wear them well. I want to glow because I feel alive and comfortable in my skin. There’s power in that, in refusing to let the world tell you that beauty has an expiration date.
Fifty-four isn’t ancient. It’s seasoned. It’s textured. It’s
rich with stories and lessons and laughter lines that prove I’ve been living. So book the Botox, have the facials, lift the weights, and throw on an inappropriate outfit because age is an asset, not an excuse.
