In the previous fiscal year, Lumax Industries achieved a revenue of ₹2,637 Crore, reflecting a 13.7% year-over-year growth. The Company recorded an EBITDA of ₹266 Crore, demonstrating a 19.6% increase compared to the previous year.
Lumax Auto Technologies delivered a stellar performance with a revenue of ₹2,822 Crore, marking an impressive 53% growth over FY 2022-23. EBITDA reached a historic high of ₹413 Crore, with margins standing at 14.6%. These financial achievements are a testament to the unwavering dedication of our employees and the strategic leadership provided by our management team.

To enhance our ability to deliver world-class solutions, Lumax Industries inaugurated a new facility in Chakan-Pune, Maharashtra, and embarked on an expansion at our plant in Bawal, Haryana. We were privileged to welcome our esteemed customers and partners to these facilities, where we engaged in meaningful and forward-looking business discussions.
As we progress through this year, I would like to underscore our unwavering commitment to transformation through our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. This roadmap is not merely a set of guidelines; it is a reflection of our deep-rooted dedication to sustainable practices, social responsibility, and robust governance.
Our recent announcement regarding the acquisition of Greenfuel Energy Solutions Private Limited is a strategic step in alignment with our sustainability goals. We are excited about this new chapter and look forward to completing the formalities and initiating a fruitful collaboration. In May and June 2024, Top Management from Nidec Mobility team visited Lumax Industries - Electronics Division in Bawal and Lumax Yokowo in Gurugram. The visit included Mr Kazushi Kadogaki, Vice President - Production Division, Mr Shuji Yamashita, Manager - Power Electronics & Body System Business Division, Mr Hideyo Kakuno, Chief Manager - Strategy Planning Group, and Mr Kenichi Kimbara. The team reviewed our LF Antenna manufacturing processes at Lumax Yokowo, the Electronics manufacturing processes at Lumax IndustriesElectronics Division and provided invaluable feedback. Mr Sachin Kulkarni, Purchase Director from Volkswagen (VW), visited Lumax Industries Limited - New Plant Chakan in July 2024 to discuss new business opportunities. During his visit, Mr Kulkarni reviewed the progress of our new business development initiatives and assessed our manufacturing processes. As part of his visit, he also participated in a tree-planting ceremony within the premises, symbolising our commitment to environmental sustainability. We are grateful to the top management at VW for their valuable suggestions and feedback, which will help us enhance our operations and strengthen our partnership moving forward.
In August 2024, Lumax Industries Limited - Electronics Division hosted the Senior Management Team from Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India led by Mr Sanjeev Jain, Mr Yuichi Akita, Mr Kamal Garg, Mr Anurag Kalra, Mr Vikas Kapoor, Mr Sunil Ojha, and Ms Lalita.
The team, led by Lumax Group Chairman Mr Deepak Jain, interacted with the Lumax members, took a plant tour to oversee the manufacturing processes and interacted with members on the shop floor. In June 2024, we had the pleasure of hosting Dinesh San, Deputy Manager, Nagayoshi San, and Shibayama San, Assistant Manager, from Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, at our Lumax IndustriesElectronics Division Bawal facility. The purpose of their visit was to monitor and assess our soldering processes, ensuring they meet the high standards of excellence expected by Suzuki. AWARENESS SESSION ON HOSHIN KANRI & OBEYA ROOM CONCEPT
Awareness sessions were conducted on the Hoshin Kanri and Obeya Room concepts at Lumax Auto Technologies Limited Pantnagar, which was also attended by members of the Lumax Industries Limited Pantnagar team. The session was led by Mr Nagaraju Nanjundaiah and lasted for 132 hours. In total, 14 participants from Lumax Auto Technologies Limited Pantnagar and 8 participants from Lumax Industries Limited Pantnagar took part in the training.
To enhance financial literacy across our diverse workforce, Mr Ashish Dubey, CFO, Lumax Auto Technologies Limited, organised Finance Training Sessions for non-finance members. These sessions were to strengthen financial concepts
between financial and non-financial departments, we aim to foster a more integrated and informed approach to business operations. These sessions empower Lumax team members to understand financial reports, contribute to cost optimisation, and make data-driven decisions that support our organisation's growth and success. BLS TRAINING PROGRAM
A Basic Life Support (BLS) training program was organised for Lumax Auto Technologies Limited employees in collaboration with the Charles Institute in Pune. This program taught essential life support techniques and participants who successfully completed the training received certification valid for two years.
Safety is more than a priority at Lumax—it is a core value. In our ongoing commitment to Zero Accidents/Zero Fires, Lumax Industries Limited - Pantnagar recently organised a comprehensive Fire Safety Training and Mock Drill. Participants learned about occupational hazards, safety procedures, and the location of safety equipment, ensuring they are well-prepared to handle emergencies. We encourage open communication and a proactive approach to safety, and we are grateful to everyone for making safety a daily habit. An emergency evacuation mock drill was conducted at Lumax Industries Limited - Bawal Lighting Division on August 28, 2024. The drill aimed to assess preparedness and ensure that all employees were familiar with evacuation procedures in the event of an emergency.

Inventory Management Trainings were successfully conducted at several of our plant locations, aimed at enhancing control, reducing waste, and improving overall supply chain performance. By equipping employees with advanced production processes.

We are excited to share that we successfully held an awareness session at Lumax Auto Technologies Limited Pantnagar on Supervisors' Roles and Responsibilities, emphasising safety, productivity, and quality. Key actions include mandatory Safety Oath, identifying unsafe acts, monitoring the shop floor, improving ergonomics, eliminating losses, and ensuring defect-free materials through a daily defect matrix. Also, a one-day Supervisory Development Training Program was held at Lumax Industries Limited, Chakan, under the guidance of trainer Ms Urja Patil. This program focuses on essential topics, including Time Management, Communication, Empathy, and Leading by Example. The initiative aims to enhance the skills and capabilities of front-line supervisors at various locations, including Lumax Industries Limited Chakan II, Lumax Industries Limited Chakan III, Lumax Industries Limited Chinchwad, and Lumax Auto Technologies Chakan. To enhance knowledge about HR practices, Mr Lokesh Singh, Assistant Manager from the HR Department organised a training session in May 2024 regarding “Best HR Practices, Especially of the E&T Pillar” at the Bajaj Cluster level. This session was attended by all Cluster E&T members, including Mr Amandeep Kakkar, Plant TPM Manager - Bajaj Auto Limited, and was well appreciated by everyone, particularly for its focus on the CUDBAS System. In July 2024, a materiality assessment workshop, which is a strategic exercise often conducted by organisations to identify and prioritise the most significant environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues that could impact the company and its stakeholders was held. These workshops are typically part of a broader sustainability or corporate responsibility strategy.
Lumax Yokowo/FAE/lturan recently organised a Mediclaim Awareness Session, complete with a helpdesk to address employee queries related to the Mediclaim policy. This initiative provided valuable insights into the benefits and coverage of the policy, ensuring that employees are well-informed about their healthcare options. The session

The unit was inaugurated by Mr Kamal Singh, Retired Teacher, Panchayat Representative, and Social Worker and Mr Vidya Nand, Panchayat Representative, along with Ms Priyanka Sharma, Sr VP and Corp Head – Corporate Communication and CSR.
This project aims to build a self-sustainable enterprise that fosters good hygiene practices among women in rural areas, nurturing them to run the business with handholding support and overall supervision. While awareness of challenge. This project will also generate demand and create awareness among the targeted beneficiaries, i.e., adolescent girls and women, on the importance of personal and menstrual hygiene management within marginalised communities. The project will involve various stakeholders, such as adolescent girls' groups, women's groups, and Self-Help Groups (SHGs). The main thrust of the project is to develop women as entrepreneurs, channeling their potential and imparting training for their skill development as part of the social enterprise focused on low-cost sanitary napkins.

With an initial investment of Rs. 5.8 lacs, these streetlights herald a new era of eco-conscious infrastructure. Generating a remarkable 10,800 units of green electricity annually, they not only illuminate our streets but also lighten the burden on traditional power sources. What’s more, their resilience shines through even during power shutdowns, ensuring uninterrupted visibility and safety for all.
Eight signal lights have been converted to solar power, reducing dependency on conventional electricity sources. The initial investment cost for this conversion is Rs 67,000. However, the benefits extend beyond cost savings; the system generates green electricity, producing 2700 units per year. Another advantage is its reliability during power shutdowns, ensuring uninterrupted functionality. This initiative highlights the practicality and sustainability of incorporating solar technology into industrial infrastructure.

Mahindra & Mahindra is enhancing its focus on ESG audits for prioritised suppliers, aiming to establish baseline measurements and improve key parameters. This initiative supports M&M's sustainability goals, including Carbon Neutrality by 2040 and Zero Waste Landfill. The audit process includes self-assessments, onsite audits, and data management via the ESG IT Portal, supported by 14 safety policies and training.
At IAC Chakan-2 Plant, Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) prioritises ESG audits for key suppliers to enhance sustainability and establish baseline measurements. This aligns with M&M's goals of carbon neutrality by 2040, water positivity, zero waste to landfill, and 50% renewable energy by 2025. The auditing process includes self-assessments, WASH compliance, onsite audits, and action plan submissions, with an ESG IT portal facilitating data entry and document uploads throughout the audit cycle.
