Dear Friends,

Inspiration

Wishing you and your family a very Happy and Prosperous New Year!

I am happy to share that the final quarter of the CY2024, has seen a significant shift in momentum for the Lumax Group. Despite the slow growth of the auto industry in the past few months, the festive season has definitely brought hope and cheer for everyone compared to the previous year.

Two-wheelers, SUVs and UVs reported substantially high sales due to festive enthusiasm. Both Lumax Industries and Lumax Auto Technologies continue its strong performance despite the significant challenges. Lumax Industries revenue for H1FY2025 stood at INR 1,578 crores with a growth of 25% Y-o-Y. On the other hand, Lumax Auto Technologies which saw highest ever single quarter revenue in the history of the company, witnessed its revenue stand at INR 1,598 crores, a growth of 20% Y-o-Y.

This performance stands as a testament to the core principles that define Lumax, our enduring relationships with our esteemed customers and the unwavering dedication of the entire Lumax team. I hope this upward trend will persist, fuelled by a stronger rural economy, continued introduction of premium models and evolving consumer preferences including the commercial vehicle segment on the back of government spending and infrastructure projects gaining momentum.

I am thankful to our esteemed customers Mahindra and Mahindra and Maruti Suzuki India for their continuous support in enhancing our ability to deliver world-class automotive solutions. In the last quarter, the Lumax team exhibited the wide range of automotive solutions at the Mahindra Research Valley in Chennai and Maruti Suzuki Research Centre in Gurugram. I congratulate the teams involved for making both these Technology Shows successful.

I would like to also congratulate everyone for successful Lumax and Greenfuel partnership and would like to wish the team the best for the alignment with sustainability goals and working

together towards shared success. This is our second acquisition in the past one and half years and hence, it is important that there is alignment between the teams highlighting the true spirit of ‘One Lumax’.

I would also urge the new leadership to align with the organisation HOSHIN and goals. Your contribution is essential to achieve manufacturing excellence, RE100 goals and enhance inclusivity and diversity, towards ‘Parivartan’ and ‘Mission 2030’.

Having worked in the Indian automobile sector for fifty years, I have learnt that e ective communication from the top down to the shop floor leads to better operational results. I am confident that Hoshin will be the guiding star that we all as teams follow to achieve our goals.

Best Regards,
