EVENTS Lumax-DK Jain Group Technology Day At Tata Motors Lumax-DK Jain Group organised a Technology Day at Tata Motors, Pune themed - “Towards a Safer, Stylised, Comfortable, Connected and Efficient Drive”, where innovation and sustainability converged to shape the future of mobility in India. The group companies showcased the latest advancements in our wide range of products and solutions that are developed focusing on Safety and Styling, Interior Safety and Comfort, Electronification and HMI, Drive Comfort, Connected Vehicles, Emissions and Efficiency. This Technology Day served as a celebration commemorating our 5 decade-long relationship with Tata Motors. From the inauguration ceremony by lighting the traditional lamp and ribbon cutting, done by Mr. Girish Wagh President of Tata Motors PV Segment, joined by Mr. Rajendra Petkar - President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Mr. Hemant Barge - Sourcing Head for Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) and Electric Vehicles (EV), Mr. Jaykumar Chuttar - Senior General Motors, Mr. Michael Benz - Vice President Powertrain Systems Engineering, Mr. Sven Patuschka - VP and CTO and his entire team, to the time and focused attention shown by the Tata leadership to view each of the products displayed. Insightful and informative conversations and discussions were visible at the Show held at Tata Motors in September 2023. Buzzing with action, knowledge exchange between the teams to carry forward discussions beyond the venue to meeting rooms and convert into future business opportunities. We look forward to creating many new milestones together.

ACMA National Convention for Mergers & Acquisitions Mr. Deepak Jain, Chairman and Managing Director of Lumax Industries Ltd., graced the event as a distinguished Keynote Speaker at ACMA National convention for Mergers and Acquisitions. During his insightful address, he shared his experiences on the partnerships and acquisitions by the Lumax-DK Jain Group.

ACMA Roundtable Mr. Vikas Marwah, CEO of Lumax Auto Technologies, lead the ACMA Roundtable on "Women's Inclusivity and Empowerment: Shaping the Future of India." During this event, he addressed the members of the industry and shed light on the evolving state of the Indian auto industry. Mr. Marwah emphasised that achieving gender equality requires a direct focus on workplace issues and the establishment of a merit-based system. Lumax-DK Jain Group proudly boasts a female workforce comprising 17% of its total employees. The company remains dedicated to fostering an environment that encourages a healthy work-life balance. Highlighting some inspiring success stories driven by our GirlPower, Mr. Marwah affirmed the top management's commitment to creating a welcoming, secure and enabling environment for young individuals to encourage diversity. Leadership Speak At SAE India Lumax Industries participated in the seminar titled 'Automotive Lighting & Optics' organised by SAE India in Pune in July 2023. Mr Rajesh Verma, Senior VP - Engineering, presented on 'Energy Efficient Lighting for EVs' and 'Challenges in Automotive Lighting - EV Applications'. As the Automotive Industry gears up for EV applications, Lighting has evolved and contains complex embedded electronics, light weighting, compact in size and micro optics. Addressing the audience, Mr Verma said “Automotive is getting loaded with lighting features like charging indicators, lit grill / hidden lighting, deck lit Tail, Animations (welcome / goodbye), LED Projectors, Ambient lighting and Advance Driving Beam (ADB) applications. The key is to optimise electronics through efficient optical systems with LED as a light source.”

Lumax Europe Technical Centre - 1st Anniversary celebrations The Lumax-DK Jain Group recently celebrated the first anniversary of the Lumax Europe Technical Centre in the Czech Republic. This milestone marks the strength of a vision, a dream that is witnessing results now. The center now boasts a team of 20 members who have made significant contributions to advancing automotive technology for the Indian market. Their innovations include Slim Line Modules, ADB (Adaptive Driving Beam), Illuminated Letters, Micro LED Arrays, and Advanced Signal Lighting. The center has also bolstered its engineering capabilities with in-house Optics Software, CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) self-reliance, and full optics capabilities for front projectors and signal lighting. Additionally, it serves as a gateway to European-based OEMs and fosters collaborations with strategic partners and suppliers. As we celebrate this milestone, we commend and appreciate the efforts of all those involved in this journey and looking forward to future endeavours.

Maiden Shipment of Lumax YOKOWO Lumax Yokowo Technologies Pvt Ltd has reached a significant milestone by delivering its first-ever shipment of the revolutionary, lightweight shark fin antenna to our esteemed customer, Honda Cars India, for their latest model launch. The seamless convergence of Yokowo's cutting-edge technology and Lumax-DK Jain group’s automotive expertise in localisation has resulted in the production of this top-notch product. Yokowo, our esteemed Japanese partner, is a leading expert in electronic components and advanced devices for wireless communication and information transmission. The shark fin antenna boasts a sleek design and exceptional performance, perfectly complementing Honda Car India's new model and elevating its aesthetics and connectivity. This accomplishment highlights the successful collaboration between Lumax and Yokowo, establishing Lumax Yokowo as a trusted supplier of advanced automotive antenna solutions in the industry.

Suzuki Motor Gujrat Visit The Lumax-DK Jain group expresses gratitude towards Mr. Mamaru Sugimori, Head of Quality Assurance, Mr. S K Dubey, Development Advisor for Quality Assurance, Mr Shobhit Samaiya, Deputy Director of Plant Quality Assurance, Mr. Jashwant Prajapati, Plant Quality Assurance Incharge, and the rest of the team members from Suzuki Motor Gujarat. Their visit to the Lumax Industries Limited - Gujarat plant in September 2023 was highly appreciated. The Lumax-DK Jain Group is wholeheartedly dedicated to establishing a Zero Defect culture, which entails achieving first time right, enhancing product quality, and eliminating any form of waste in our manufacturing facilities across India. With the support and guidance of our customer, we have embarked on our Zero Defect Journey at the Sanand plant in Gujarat.

Welcome Aboard Mr. Ketkale

The Lumax-DK Jain Group appointed Mr. Raju B Ketkale as ‘Executive Director-Manufacturing & Corporate Planning’ in October 2023. Mr. Ketkale is based at the corporate headquarters in Gurugram and closely works with the leadership team. Mr. Ketkale is a senior industry veteran and comes with over 3 decades of experience having held various strategic positions in his career at Toyota Kirloskar Motors (TKML). His last position held was Executive Vice President-Manufacturing and Board Member at TKML. He has successfully led massive structural reforms in manufacturing, technical function and people development to achieve cost competitiveness & manufacturing excellence, establishing a leadership pipeline ready to face challenges of new technology, electrification, carbon neutrality and digitisation. He was also working very closely with Suzuki, Japan & Maruti Suzuki India as the project leader for Toyota-Suzuki alliance and successfully launched the first hybrid vehicle project for India & export markets. “We are delighted to welcome Mr. Ketkale as our Executive Director. Mr. Ketkale’s extensive industry and strategic experience, combined with a deep passion for fostering organisational transformation, will help Lumax to advance to newer heights, including building a robust pipeline of leaders from within to make the organisation future ready”, says Mr. Deepak Jain, Chairman, Lumax-DK Jain group. Mr. Anmol Jain, Group Managing Director, Lumax-DK Jain group added, “We had embarked on our visioning journey to create a ‘One Lumax, One Manufacturing System’. This new role has emerged out of this need and will support our core, which is and will remain manufacturing. We all know manufacturing entails much more than just production operations, it encompasses the whole ecosystem that affects the culture and impacts day-to-day work management. Given Ketkale san’s rich experience & vast knowledge, we are very excited to working together on this business reformation journey”. Mr. Ketkale, holds a BE Mechanical and a Masters in Machine Design from Bangalore University. On behalf of TKML, he has been the recipient of Energy compact award for achieving RE100 in May 2022 from MNRE, Govt of India. In his earlier role, he has also promoted sustainable operations in TKML and across value chain, achieving plant zero CO2 (RE 100) in Year 2021. It is the No.1 plant recognised by Toyota globally and he has successfully established biodiversity eco-park on a construction dump. For this initiative, he is also the recipient of the ‘MOEF & CII ITC Excellence’ award for Biodiversity park on behalf of TKML in March 2023.

IAC Nashik LTS Signed Long Term Wage Settlement has been concluded with amicably and peacefully for Nashik Plant. Settlement benefits has been focused more over machining employees earning to meet their basic requirement as per market slandered and upgrade their lifestyle so satisfy their family members too. Another focus on the welfare facility like medical, accidental benefits etc. Also we are able to make multi union scenario to single union accurse the IAC (Maharashtra) units. So as a business perspective and enhance our negotiation strategy is beneficial to us for future prospective.

Delivering 1.0 Lac Sets Of Cockpits Congratulations to all IAC Group Chakan Plant 1 team for delivering 1,00,000 sets of Cockpits and interior plastic parts to XUV 7OO in record time. We are thankful to all our teammates from Design, Engineering, Program, Production, Quality, SCM and all other teams for their countless efforts. Especially thanks to our Esteemed Customer I.e. Strategy Alignment & Goals Review Workshop In the month of April, IAC India Leadership Team had a Strategic Goal Setting and Alignment Offsite Workshop where cross-functional stakeholders aligned with each other to achieve the Strategic Objective of the Organisation. Mr. Sunil Koparkar addressed the leadership group about the renewed Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Strategic priorities of IAC India. The workshop is organised to take HODs away from day-to-day operations and to focus solely on strategy and business plans, brainstorm ideas to enhance our goals, and to establish benchmarks for how we’ll measure progress and define success.

It was a collaborative session where cross-functional stakeholders got together to align and contribute to the strategic direction of the company.

Purple (Excellence) Rating For Sustainable Performance From M&M We are super excited that IAC Nashik Plant has earned a Purple (Excellence) rating from Mahindra & Mahindra, Nashik for sustainable performance in various areas during the last Three consecutive Quarters which is a milestone. IAC Group appreciates the persistent effort taken by Diptiranjan Nayak, Prashant Lokhande, Dhananjay Shirode, and the entire Nashik team. Sunil Koparkar and IAC India Senior Management team attended the celebration to give a pat on the back.

Nashik Team was awarded the purple category by Mahindra and Mahindra which requires excellent performance in the supplier scorecard. This is the third consecutive quarter where Nashik team secured an Excellent rating from customer. Nashik celebrated this achievement on 04th May 2023 in presence of senior Management.

At IAC Nashik, our team had an exceptional experience during a training session led by our esteemed leader, Mr. Sunil Koparkar, who seamlessly intertwined Business Acumen with compelling firsthand experiences.. CSR Career Counselling To provide individuals with personalized guidance and support to help them make informed decisions about their career path. It involves assessing one's interests, skills, values, and personality traits to help identify potential career paths that align with their goals and aspirations. Ultimately, the goal of career counseling is to help individuals achieve professional success and satisfaction. The project is initiated in three states: Haryana, Gujarat, and Maharashtra, covering more than 5000 students.

International Literacy Day International Literacy Day was celebrated with students of our schools in Haryana, Gujarat, and Maharashtra. The objective was to raise awareness of the importance of literacy, how it can enable critical thinking, foster personal development and empower. Literacy improves lives by expanding capabilities, reducing poverty, increasing livelihood opportunities and having positive effects on health and sustainable development.

Mukesh's Journey to Self-Acceptance and Empowerment Name: Mukesh S/o: Late Joginder Kumar Class: 12th School Name: GSSS Jamalpur Age: 17 In the above picture, Mukesh is delivering a speech at the Literacy Day Celebration.

Mukesh,

a student of class 12th, had been struggling with a significant speech difficulty. This challenge restricted him from participating in various activities where speaking was required. Mukesh's difficulty in speaking not only affected his self-esteem but also limited his personal and academic growth. However, through the life skills interventions and his own efforts, Mukesh overcame his self esteem issues, improved his self perception and emerged as a confident speaker during Literacy Day Celebrations. Mukesh resides in village Kasan, 5 km away from Jamalpur School. He lives with his mother, younger sister, and younger brother. He lost his father in 2018, and his mother works as a labourer in the fields, managing the family's expenses. Mukesh had been hesitant to participate in activities that required public speaking, feeling embarrassed and demotivated whenever he had to speak in front of others. The shame, mockery and limitation prevented him from opportunities to develop his communications skills. Initially, Mukesh struggled to attend the life skills sessions, fearing judgment for his limitations. His self-doubt was profound, and he often questioned whether he could ever overcome his limitations. The program facilitators had to work patiently to build his trust and create an enabling environment where Mukesh felt safe expressing himself. Recognizing the need to address Mukesh's challenges and build his self-esteem, life skills facilitators prepared him to learn to accept his limitations. They encouraged him to embrace his unique qualities, recognising that everyone has strengths and weaknesses. Through group discussions and activities, Mukesh slowly began to accept that his speech difficulty did not define his worth or potential. During the life skills sessions, Mukesh was encouraged to set personal goals and work towards them. He began to see the potential for growth and development within himself, fueling his determination to overcome his speech difficulty. Mukesh's dedication and hard work paid off when he asked the facilitator to add his name to deliver a speech on the importance of literacy at Literacy Day Celebration. The event was a significant challenge for him, but he was determined not to let his speech difficulty hold him back. He prepared well, rehearsing his speech countless times and delivered it impeccably to a resounding round of applause from his peers and teachers. Most importantly, Mukesh realised that he had the ability to communicate effectively, despite his speech difficulty. His newfound confidence extended beyond the event, positively impacting his academic performance and overall self-esteem. Mukesh's participation in this program marked the beginning of a transformative journey. Mukesh's journey from feeling demotivated and ashamed of his speech difficulty to becoming a confident and empowered speaker is a testament to the power of self-acceptance and determination. The life skills program played a crucial role in providing Mukesh with the support, guidance, and encouragement he needed to overcome his challenges. This case study demonstrates how personal growth and transformation are possible when individuals are empowered to accept themselves as they are and strive to reach their full potential.

Learning Aid Distribution Learning Aids were distributed at Bellur Krishnamachar & Seshamma Smaraka Nidhi Trust associated schools covering more than 550 students at Bengaluru.

Children’s Diabetes is a disorder where the child’s pancreas is incapable of producing Insulin. The incidence of diabetes among children is increasing rapidly in India (India has the largest number of children with diabetes in the world), with many children less than 5 years of age. These children have to take insulin and follow strict diet and disciplined lifestyle. Children with diabetes who receive poor treatment are likely to have serious complications such as kidney failure, eye and neurological problems, and heart-related complications within 10 years. Type 1 diabetes is an enormous financial, medical, and psychological burden on the child and family. With appropriate treatment and support, these children can live a near-normal life as children and adults. LCF supports 35 Juvenile Patients annually.

Cancer Awareness & Screening Camps Lumax Charitable Foundation regularly conducts awareness and screening camps in and around the Lumax plant facilities in Haryana. The camps are conducted in the school premises that the team works in for its education interventions for senior students. Awareness sessions at the start of the camp set the tone, that are supplemented with pamphlets, educating the participants on the common cancers prevalent in India. Cancer survivors conduct awareness sessions and share their journey of winning over the deadly disease to help in prevention and early detection. Further, the participants are thoroughly examined by the team of specialist doctors (General Physician, ENT, Gynecologist, Surgeon etc.) Pathological tests along with Radiology examinations, wherever needed that include Xray, Ultrasound, Mammography are conducted. The reports are shared within 2-3 weeks with the participants and any suspected cases are supported with further investigations and also treatment at subsidized costs. Lumax Charitable Foundation will be conducting similar camps in the next quarter as well helping in treatments and early detections.

Preventive Cancer screening is especially focused on oral, lung, breast, and cervical cancer. Patients diagnosed with the disease are referred to Hospitals of their choice where there is a presence of Indian Cancer Society volunteers. A complete Screening package at highly subsidized rates includes: • Height and weight • Blood pressure • Chest X-ray • Digital Blood Profile • ENT check, including indirect Laryngoscopy • Comprehensive Gynecological Examination of Cervix (Pap Smear Test) • Breast Examination • Complete male check-up by a Surgeon, covering physical examination for enlarged liver, spleen, Prostate • Mammograms, as recommended by Gynecologist.

Eye Screening & Cataract Surgeries India has the largest blind and potentially blind population in the world (estimated 9 to 15 million people), including one fifth of the world’s blind children and an additional 52 million visually impaired. Non-availability and non-affordability are the main reasons for the lack of quality eye care in rural India. Many people who are blinded by treatable cataracts cannot reach hospitals or eye clinics for treatment. Many of them do not realize it can be corrected. The loss of sight can destroy a person's livelihood – even life itself. Lumax Charitable Foundation has been conducting Eye Screening camps and Free cataract surgeries for underprivileged over a decade.

Independence Day We celebrated the 76th Independence Day with our students in Haryana, Gujarat, and Maharashtra. The Independence Day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm, with the support of school staff, the community, and Sakshi NGO in the school campus. It was filled with patriotism and a sense of unity among students, teachers, and the community. Together, they honoured the nation's freedom fighters and commemorated the historic event. Activities such as the Flag Hoisting Ceremony, Cultural Performances, Role Play Activity of Freedom Fighters, a tribute to the Indian Army, and a skit by students were conducted to engage students, school staff, and communities.
