Spring is just around the corner, I don’t care what Puxatawny Sam says!!
We have some great Member parties planned for the next couple of months with the St Patrick’s Day Strolling Buffet being one of the most popular of the year Make your reservations early so you do not miss out on the fun. Seven food stations with 7 different Irish beverages!!
Do you realize that pool season is only a few months away? This year, it will be a big one as we are hosting the City Meet in July For those who do not know that means all the Clubs in the CCSA have a 4-day Swim meet here at LBC We will be looking for some volunteers, please let us know if you would be available.
I cannot stress enough that membership growth is most important to the lifeblood of any Club. Bring your friends and business associates into your circle at the Club! We offer a Food and Beverage credit equal to 10% of the Initiation Fee paid by your invitee, as a thank you to you for sponsoring them. REMEMBER that the Initiation Fees will be raised to $7500 on April 1, so get your “ peeps ” to sign up this month before the deadline We also have a Legacy Membership for your immediate family members (children, grandchildren, parents and grandparents, brothers and sisters) which is a way to perpetuate your family’s heritage in the Club Legacy Members only pay 50% of the published Initiation Fee plus the posted dues and fees The Board and Membership Committee are looking at some new incentives for our younger prospective members, so stay tuned
We are looking at changing our menu concepts and will implement these changes within 45 days For all you bourbon aficionados on March 23, we are planning a Bourbon and Gourmet Burger evening. Plus, we have added 6 new bourbons at the bar. George and I are working on an upscale special wine list for those of you who are looking for a better wine offering Unfortunately, this will not be part of “Wine Down Wednesdays” which for those who don’t know is a 50% discount on wines by the bottle. Don’t forget Starla’s Happy Hour in the Crows’ Nest every Friday!
The Team and I thank you for your constructive comments because it is through those that we can improve your Member experience in your Club
The future looks great, and together we will do great things!
Sincerely,
