Greetings and Salutations:
Henry Kelsey – Vice President &
The birds are singing, the bees are buzzing and the Typhoons are swimming!! It’s finally here…….Pool Season. Happy, happy, happy! It’s great to see so many people outside, on the tennis and pickleball courts, at the pool, and at the Pavilion. We had a great “Kick off Weekend” and we are now settling in for the long haul!! We have some great events planned for the Summer including Pool Parties, Dock Parties, and the always popular Friday Nights Live in the Pavilion. We have scheduled the Family Olympics, Junior Camps, Friday Pickleball parties, tennis round robins and, of course, the traditional Holiday weekends. As an added service we will have Poolside and Pavilion full service in the evenings and all day on weekends. Nathan is our Pool Manager for this year, whose primary responsibility will be service and cleanliness in the pool area and the Pavilion. Please introduce yourself to him, as he is a great asset to our Club. Through the end of June we will, again, be offering a Trial Membership similar to what has been offered in the past. So please get your friends, neighbors, and business associates to join you as Members of the most fun Club in the ‘Ville!! Please call or e-mail me their contact information and I will forward them a Membership Packet at your request. Members are the lifeblood of any Club and Membership growth is paramount to our success as a Club. We had a great year last year and would like to replicate that again. We do need to keep that number climbing! Remember the immortal words of one of the most successful Club operators ever: “More Members make a better Club.” As always when we open the Pavilion, we close lunch service in the Clubhouse, except for special functions. Chef Omar has his new Summer Dinner Menus in place, with some old favorites and also several new dishes that are seasonally inspired. The Team and I appreciate your constructive comments which help us to improve the “Membership Experience.” Sincerely, David Drury CCM CCE
