While the upstairs is closed for “spring cleaning and maintenance” there will be plenty of action from tennis, squash, paddle, and pickle. Don’t forget that we lined Court #1 for two pickle courts so you do not have to go into withdrawal because the outside pickle courts are closed!! We also have a Paddle Tournament the weekend of January 22nd: sign up in the Pro Shop. Speaking of the Pro Shop, we have some new display tables and will have new merchandise to show off, in the near future. When we reopen the dining on January 18, we will have new menus with some of your new and old favorites. Chef Omar will have surprises for you, and we will continue with the weekly Saturday Prix Fixe. As I had mentioned before, we have, in conjunction with the Entertainment Committee, put together a great calendar of events for the year starting with the Member Appreciation Night on January 22. Right after the first of the year, we are going to beta test a new Texting App, which will give us another way to keep you informed and up to date with Club Information. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT ALL YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION, THAT WE HAVE ON FILE, IS CURRENT. Before I close, the Team would like to thank the Members for their generosity in the donations for the Employee Holiday Fund. They are very thankful. Lastly, I want to thank the Membership for their support, the Management Team, and the Employees for their hard work in making and keeping LBC a very special place. Happy New Year to All. David Drury CCM CCE
